This is one the most unique properties around. Located in the resort town of Saugatuck, known for art, boating, and terrific restaurants, this beach house is actually on the beach. Snuggled at the bottom of a wooded bluff, it is just a dozen steps off the patio and you are on your own private beach.... over 200 feet of it... extremely private. No other cottages on the beach for miles. Watch the fantastic sunsets off the second floor balcony or have a bonfire on the beach... beach is all sand with no rocks... a very romantic setting or that one special place that will make for familiy vacation memories that will last a lifetime. There is an electric tram system for moving luggage and groceries from the road level to the house that makes life at the Beach House much easier.The Beach House is surronded on 3 sides by mature trees and the 4th side is of course wall to wall beach and Lake Michigan views!
The house has a living room with white wicker furniture, dining area, kitchen, and half bath on first floor. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. Two bedrooms and a bath are upstairs. There is a queen-size bed in the master bedroom and two trundle beds in the other bedroom, each with its own access to the balcony. Smoking is not allowed in the building. It is fully-equipped with the all linens and cooking needs... you just bring the bottle of wine! It is a casual, secluded home. It is clean, up to date and fun to stay at.
Please note because of its private setting, there are over 70 steps from the road level down to the beach house. The tram will carry groceries and luggage!
