At summer's sundown, the enchanting Severn River glows a myriad of glistening colours. The surface, sometimes covered with dancing ripples while other times mirror still allowing for the picture perfect reflection of the countless majestic maple and mighty oak trees.
In winter - a snowmobiler's paradise with the popular trail # 4, just across the river.
Relax by the open fire or on the large dock/sundeck and let your cares flow away down the meandering river. This property is on a very quiet section of the Severn River while having access to the world famous Trent Severn Inland Waterway. We chose this 'special place' because of its appeal for boating, canoeing, fishing and swimming. All available from our 100 feet of private shoreline.
This vacation destination has it all....scenery, large lawn for the kids to play, plus a cottage with all the comforts needed to enjoy that perfect 'get-away'.
Our 'Gourmet' kitchen is equipped with solid oak, glass door cabinetry. The kitchen's center island has a quality recessed glass cook top. Steps away are the built in oven and large microwave. Opposite are the double stainless steel sinks and built in dishwasher.
A wall of quailty cabinets above and pine see through pickets below allow an open concept view of the sunken family room.
Step through sliding glass doors from the kitchen to the outer sundeck where you may enjoy vistas of the beautiful Severn River.
From the kitchen, enter the unique and appealing separate dining room. This room has gleamng hardwood floors and a bay window providing another view of the river. The oak, double pedestal dining table has period spoke back chairs. A truly warm and comfortable room to enjoy meals with family and friends.
Enter the Family Room from the kitchen over a short pine stairway. The delightfully furnished and comfortable family room is equipped with a gas fireplace. Cozy up to its warmth on a chilly evening with a good book or simply 'kick back' and enjoy a good movie or DVD on the flat screen TV.
Enter the covered patio through sliding glass doors.
Off the sunken family room, is the quaint, yet modern, lower level bathroom having a large acrylic shower and an antique dresser to store your bath towels. Adjacent is a separate bedroom furnished with a charming, iron antique 3/4 bed with a comfortable, pillow top mattress. Modern comfort with a touch of yesteryear decor.
Access the upper level over another pine stairway to the landing. There are 3 more bedrooms plus the main 4 piece bath on this level.
The large broadloomed master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed plus a double bed. There is also a 'dressing nook' with antique dresser plus a large, lighted double closet.
Enter the separate upper level sundeck from the master bedroom through sliding glass doors. The elevated view from this deck is the perfect place to enjoy your first coffee in the morning or that 'night cap' at the end of another memory filled day.
Another carpeted and freshly decorated bedroom is furnished with 2 twin beds.
The 3rd upper level bedroom is also furnished with 2 twin beds.
Enter the main bathroom on this level through a solid cedar door. A full 4 piece bath with modern, acrylic tub surround, large vainity, expansive mirror and solid brass faucet.
Many rooms in our cottage are equipped with ceiling fans to ensure that those warmer nights can feel as 'cool as a breeze'.
Our 'home away from home' is the perfect place for you to enjoy some quiet, quality time away from life's hustle and bustle!

My family spent a great week at this cottage. It was exactly as listed and the photos were very accurate. We arrived to find a very clean place. My grandchildren, 21 months and 4 years had a great time, as did the rest of us (6 adults). The dock was a very popular spot and enjoyed by all. the location is ideal being about 1/2 way between Orillia and Bracebridge. Going to Santa's Village was easy and shopping in Orillia was fantastic. I would recommend this cottage to anyone I could.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My two girlfriends and I rented this house last fall. We were very happy with our stay and would certainly go there again and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was easy to find and on a great spot on the river. It was very clean, very bright and well maintained. Everything was in great working order. It is close to Orillia if you want to shop or go out to eat and is also close to Gravenhurst if you want to go there to shop and eat. It is a great place to just sit back and relax or participate in activities if you choose. You cannot go wrong staying here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
