We had a great time. The beds were so comfortable. Cabin was perfect. The view was nice. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely be coming back. We only stayed 3 nights and only got a fraction of locations and attraction visited that we wanted to. Thanks Amy!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We began our summer vacation flying across the country from San Diego to Cincinnati! Then we took a road-trip with our family from Cincinnati to beautiful "Across the Trails" cabin. It was an absolute pleasure, as was the wonderful and friendly customer service provided by the owner, Amy. The beds were very comfortable. Great wifi connection; just read the instructions posted on the side of the fridge or in the information booklet on the table. We loved the swing and rocking chairs on the back balcony while sipping a cup of hot coffee in the morning. With a well stocked kitchen, big screen TV, hot tub, pool table, video games, air hockey table, great scenery and more, we didn't really need to leave. But we were close enough to go to Pigeon Forge and went for a day. We took our nieces on the Aerial Tram and they were terrified. "Not for the faint of heart or fearful of heights". But an absolutely beautiful 7 minute ride to the top. It is well worth the ride! (Save your money on the so called animal exhibit at the top. They had 3 bears. Momma, Pappa, and Baby. A few turtles, an owl, a raccoon, and a skunk. hmmm) We also did a little shopping along the main strip and had lunch at Bubba Gumps. $$$ Great food & service, but a little on the pricey side. A vacation to remember! Although we live two thousand miles away on the West coast, if we are ever back in this neck of the woods, we would love to stay at this cabin again. We will highly recommend and suggest our family in Cincinnati schedule a trip soon! Thanks for sharing your cozy cabin with all its warmth and excellent amenities. ~ Gary & Liza S.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Gary and Liza, Such kind words! Wow, and I almost did not answer the phone thinking it was a telephone solicitor! I am humbled to be able to share my cabin with such great folks all around the country. I never new how much fun renting out my 3 cabins would be. We are very glad you had a great time at Across the Trail. Amy

We had a fabulous vacation at Across the Trail! We loved the location - easy access to the Smokies, not too close, but not too far from Pigeon Forge. My 2 kids loved playing Air Hockey and they had many 'tournements' with Granny and Poppy! They also loved the pool table and the Wii. We all enjoyed the hot tub, swimming pool, and Netflix movies! The cabin has a well stocked kitchen and the owners were a pleasure to work with. As a family we enjoyed the Laural Fall, the Dixie Stampede, Wonderworks, the Wonder of Magic (a favorite!), and Dollywood. We also ate lunch at Roundstone Pizza and had dessert at Cakes by Bakin' Bishop! We had a great time!! Can't wait to come back and stay at Across the Trail!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

This place had all the amenities one could ask for, and the owner was always available if/when we had any questions. We stayed 10 nights and the kids miss it already. From playing pool to air hockey to Mario Kart, there were plenty to keep us busy late evening as well as over nap time. The hot tub was great as well. The distance to everywhere was reasonable, and you still felt like you were in the middle of the woods. The outdoor pool was wonderful, and always nice and warm. If you're looking at this place and comparing to others, this would be one I'd pay a little more to stay in and choose over others for sure!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Wouldn't you know that in a drought, we'd vacation during the only week it would rain every day. Thank goodness for the cabin. Our family of five enjoyed playing pool and air hockey. We were minutes away from Tanger Outlet Mall which was another plus. The owners were easily accessible if I had a question. In spite of the weather, we managed to do everything we wanted to do during our stay. We definitely appreciated the cabin. Three kids had plenty of sleeping space with my son having his own room and my twins sharing a futon in the loft (there was another small bed up there as well). They also enjoyed the Wii. We didn't take advantage of the indoor pool, but found enough sun to enjoy the outdoor pool and mini golf on our last day. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was just a cozy cabin. It's hard to get my family to agree on anything, but they all loved the cabin.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
