Driving down the road along side Kells Creek among the prolific mountain laurels, towering white pines, and majestic hemlock trees, you realize you are entering a magical place. When you arrive at the "home away from home," you will be invited in to appreciate all the work and effort that has been made to make you comfortable. Step outside, and for awhile you will think you have been caught in a rain storm, then you realize that it's the loud rush of water over ancient river rocks in Kells Creek located just 50 feet away from your open deck or screen porch.
These rustic cabins have all the comforts of home while allowing you to be carried away by nature to another time when multi-tasking referenced playing in the creek at the same time you are fishing for your dinner. Go for a long stroll along the creek or settle down on the screen porch with a great book. Maybe shopping for a hidden treasure in one of the many nearby antique shops or visiting with some of the locals in one of the fine restaurants, that we can recommend, is more your cup of tea.
