Welcome to beautiful Golf and Ski Lodge. With a gorgeous view of Bear Mountain and conveniently located on the golf course, you are sure to enjoy your stay. This inviting home has wood cabin decor throughout and includes four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. The master suite has a private Jacuzzi bathtub and a wood burning fireplace. The living room fireplace is built into a stonewall extending up to the vaulted ceiling. The living room includes a sleeper sofa. After a day of playing in the snow or hiking relax in a built in spa or play billiards in the game room. The lodge includes a beautiful gourmet kitchen with all the amenities, a gas barbeque on the deck and a washer and dryer. It sleeps up to 10 guests. Great home for family with lots of kids
Great home for family with lots of kids
Wow, we had such a great time in this home! There are six in my family—kids ages 6, 4, 2, 2 months. Our friends were with us, too—kids ages 6, 3, 2. So 11 in all. The house was very spacious for our group. Kids had a great time playing in the north-facing back yard. The yard is a nice slope, and since the house shades it during the day the snow back there hadn’t melted so it was perfect for the kids to play in, even though it didn’t snow during our stay. The hot tub is a gem—enclosed, clean, beautiful, mountain views while soaking in it. That was also nice for everyone. Kitchen was easy to use for a large group. We moms did not feel excluded from the action while cooking because it’s right next to the main family room. Internet connection worked great. Nancy had everything there we needed—plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, soaps, garbage bags and cleaning supplies, operable appliances, a baby-gate for the stairs, etc. We brought a lot of extra paper goods though (napkins, paper towels, toilet paper)—knowing our crew makes a mess. We also brought our own pack-and-plays for three of the kids and two portable high chairs. Had we needed them, the house had beds for everyone. The view from the living area—where we all spent much of our waking moments—was so beautiful. Nothing obstructs the view of the golf course (which was a blanket of snow) and the mountains beyond. For a few hours one day, I watched coyotes tramping around the course enjoying the serene landscape. I love this location in big bear, because it is very near a pharmacy, the village, VONS supermarket, the Nature Discovery Center, and the zoo…but what’s great about this house is even though it is close to the stuff families need access to, one still feels secluded in nature due to the unobstructed view. We hope to meet our friends there for a reunion next year!

Great cabin, great location, great rates!
Stayed in this cabin with a group of eight and it was spacious! There were enough beds for everyone and more than enough restrooms which was a plus. However, it would've been nicer if the cabin was stocked up on toilet paper. All the rolls of toilet paper were half used when we arrived and there were no extra rolls provided. The pool table and Jacuzzi were a big plus! Jacuzzi could be a bit better managed because the water was a little dirty but that didn't keep us from taking a dip. Overall, you probably won’t find a spacious cabin that is close to the slopes like this one, anywhere online for a better rate.

We were all extremely pleased with our stay at this beautiful cabin. When we arrived, everything was clean and well maintained. We were all impressed with the interior decoration and how spacious the cabin was. I will add that the pictures did not due the cabin any justice at all!! The cabin looks much beautiful in person. The location was perfect if you are looking for a place near the slopes. One of our favorite amenity was the Jacuzzi. It was clean and the location of it was perfect. 9 people came on this trip and we did not have to bring any air beds which was the best part. Also the owner was extremely helpful in addressing questions; which was highly appreciated. One of my best trips to Big Bear! I would highly recommend this place!!!

This Cabin is Great. I loved how spacious it was. We were there with a couple families, so when you wanted some private time, have the space was great. I love the interior decorating, whoever did it, did a great job. One of the rooms was a kids room that had enough room for all of our children. The View is awesome. You can see bear mountain and the golf course right in front of the house. The game room was also a huge plus for me. We were able to open the roll up doors and enjoy the fresh air while playing some pool. I was very pleased with this cabin, and for the size of the place I couldn't beat the price.

About the owner: Thank you so much for viewing my home. My name is Nancy, I am a native of California and have been visiting Big Bear Mountain since I learned how to drive. When my boys were 12 and 13 they decided that it was time to learn how to snow board so we ventured to Bear Mountain and tackled this new challenge. Few years later my husband and I made the decision to buy the home. My boys have grown with families of their and no longer have time to visit Big Bear. Hence, the house is being offer to other families an hope that it is enjoyed just as much.
