This house was clean and comfortable. It was very close to town and also close to beach access, could actually see the ocean from the front porch. We loved the location, it was nice to be able to walk to town. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was comfortable, cozy, and generally as described. Small house, but a large kitchen. It was an easy walk to Glass Beach. My family also really enjoyed MacKerricher State Park.

We loved this cottage so much we have already booked a week in May, June and July. Everything is exactly as advertised and more! The cottage is within walking distance to almost everything. It was so nice to cook in a kitchen that really did have everything needed. The place was spotless and so very compfy. Ted and Andie went beyond what most owners do in caring that their guests have what they need and are always available for questions. We feel we hit the jackpot in finding this cottage...and at a very reasonable price for what you get.

Everything about this bungalow was awesome!! The pictures were exactly like the property. The place was immaculate and very nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped and the sunny eating area was great. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sink in the master bathroom was a work of art! The street was very quiet and the location was perfect walking distance to the beach and downtown..The owner was very helpful..left great instructions and and great resources for restaurants and things to do in Ft. Bragg. We would definitely reccommend this house to our friends and family..can t wait to go back!!

This was the perfect place to stay for me and my friends in Ft. Bragg! The location is convenient walking distance to the town and beaches. The kitchen is big and well stocked with just about everything you need. This "cottage is more than big enough for four adults lounging in the living room, cooking a group meal in the kitchen, eating at the dining table, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely appointed with sheets, blankets, towels all provided... and even an full/queen size Aerobed that fits in the living room. The neighborhood is very safe and very quiet. Lovely! I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in this adorable little house with our toddler for a quick family visit. The exterior is just as cute in person and the interior was well maintained and clean. You can tell that the owners have done a lot to the space. They have managed to balance keeping the original charm of the house while also making significant upgrades. It makes for a really fun, eclectic vibe- think crown molding and fancy chandelier light fixtures mixed with a modern art sink. You walk into a very comfortable living room which would be great for hanging out with a small group of friends- there is a small TV/stereo set up to listen to music and a few boardgames stashed on the shelves. Our 2-year old was kept very happily entertained by the Jenga set. The kitchen is really nice- it is quite large and set up to be cook-friendly with lots of counter space and a huge sink. There is a cute little breakfast nook with a table for four attached to the kitchen. The bedrooms are both very pretty- decorated with a slightly victorian flair and with plenty of room for 2 people to move around without stepping on each other's toes. We were able to set up our travel crib in the front bedroom without even having to move any furniture, if that tells you how big the rooms are. There is also a nice storage/laundry area in the back if you plan on staying more than a few days. The only thing that warrants a warning is the master bathroom- the door is a very pretty, but very see-through etched glass. This may or may not be an issue for you- some couples are comfortable with this, but it may be uncomfortable for those who like their privacy! The good news is that there is a second bathroom in the hall with a "regular" door if you prefer. The best part about this house is probably its location. You are seriously just a few blocks from both the water (glass beach) and from town. We were able to walk to lunch at the depot (it was such a short trip, we didn't even need the stroller for our daughter) and watch the Skunk Train roll in to town. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. The owners were very thoughtful- they even left the front light on for us since we were arriving late at night. We will definitely be coming back to this house next time we come to Fort Bragg!

With our families far away, my friend and I decided to have our own Thanksgiving away from home for three nights. This cozy home was perfect for the occasion. From the front door one can see and hear the sound of the ocean and it is walking distance from the North Haul Road, the Glass Beach and downtown Ft. Bragg. The large, fully-equipped kitchen (unless you need a dishwasher) made dinner preparation easy and there were even some herbs growing in the yard to help provide fresh ingredients. We found the living room, with its large flat screen TV, a relaxing place for watching movies in the evenings. While we didn’t use the wood stove, there was plenty of heat without it. We appreciated the modern updates to the bathrooms and the very warm and comfortable beds. We highly recommend this home and will be back again next time we visit Ft. Bragg.

Our rental was a last minute weekend getaway. From the moment I sent an inquiry to see if the house was available, the service was great! Andi and Ted were quick to respomd and so easy to deal with. The house as clean and comfortable..a perfect getaway weekend. We enjoyed Glass Beach, fishing and sight seeing while visiting Fort Bragg. Thank you for letting us rent you lovely vacation home!

This is a great little cottage quaint, quiet and very cozy. The decor is beachy and tranquil. It definitely matched the photos and was spotless. It had been recently painted a wonderful color of blue. We stayed for two nights and everything was perfect. The cottage is conveniently located to downtown and Glass Beach etc. We had a great time exploring the area and relaxing (emphasis on relaxing). The cottage rule is relax, relax and relax and we followed the rule to the letter. We will definitely come back to stay and take in more of the surrounding area. The owner is great to work with and the rental process is seamless. We would definitely recommend this cottage to our friends. What a great weekend.

About the owner: We are a couple with jobs in higher educaton and health care. We love to cook and eat, easy things on the North Coast. We love long walks, travel, photography, reading, spending time with our family. Now we're ready to share our special place with guests.

Why the Owner Chose Fort Bragg:
Fort Bragg is just 2 hours from our home in Northern Sonoma County, far enough away to feel like we're on vacation, even for just a few nights. We've been renting places here for a long time, so we are very grateful to have one of our own, and to share it. Fort Bragg is a great mix of authentic working class folks, artists and folks who just love the ocean. The feeling of community is strong here.

The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
We love that we can walk out from the house and see the coast and hear the ocean. Or, our walks can take us downtown for coffee at Headlands Coffee, breakfast at Eggheads or a great dinner at Mendo Bistro. Winter on the coast includes delicious crab, cute hometown parades and unique shopping opportunities.
