An owner designed, custom built home on a private road is a quiet haven just 10 miles from TSV and 8 miles from the town of Taos.
The pueblo adobe style home is totally unique. Decorated by a family of artists, handmade furniture, original American Wildlife paintings, landscape photographs and collections of native American pottery and basketry will immerse you in the culture and spirit of New Mexico.
A hot tub for 6 overlooks a vast ranch. While soaking under the stars, you can smell the pinion from any of the four kiva fireplaces and look down on the twinkling lights of town.
The house sleeps 4-6 people and is an open floor-plan for entertaining and socialization.

This was a perfect set up for our family of 4. Beautiful home and unbelievable art in the home! Kids (and parents) loved the hot tub and the kitchen was great for cooking and all the amenities. Owner is a pleasure to work with...made everything so easy. Hope to be back soon!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

If you have ever rented on VRBO, and understand the anticipation of pulling up to the home you have only seen in pictures, then you will understand when I say that nothing prepared us for how exceptional this family home actually was. In random order, finally a home with exceptional beds & linens! 5 fireplaces (I kept 3 running non-stop), custom touches everywhere that made it very clear this home was designed and furnished by artists (an understatement as you will learn). Grilled a NY strip on the outdoor fire pit (very cool), the books, rain showers, and the most unbelievable master bathroom door I have ever seen (not exaggerating). This is not a mountaintop home, but the balance of views, privacy and proximity to both Taos and the ski mountain was perfect! Well done.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

About the owner: We are a family of artists. The house was custom designed and built by the owners and every touch inside and out is a work of art, from the wood carved furniture to the paintings and photographs hanging on the walls!
