This cozy 3 bedroom, three bath condo occupies the top two levels of the highest situated building in the magnificent Lake Forest Complex. Both mountain and lake views are spectacular from each of the beautifully decorated rooms and the large deck. This spacious (1400 square foot) unit will provide ample comfort for nine people.
It is centrally located; less than 15-20 minutes to Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin, Loveland, and 30 minutes to Vail/Beaver Creek. In addition, you will be just minutes from miles of beautiful cross country skiing and snowshoeing at the Frisco Nordic Center. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise, and after a day of skiing, relax in one of the three hot tubs just outside your door, also with spectacular views.
During the warmer months, you can enjoy the Summit County bike path around Lake Dillon (a short walk from your door), with connections to Vail, Breckenridge, etc. Also enjoy hiking, boating, sailing, and fishing across the road at Lake Dillon. Whitewater rafting, hot-air ballooning, horseback riding, some of the best fly-fishing in the state, excellent golfing, and tennis are all at your fingertips. The surrounding mountains offer world-class mountain biking opportunities. Year-round shopping at charming boutiques and over 90 outlet stores is only minutes away. No matter what interests you, Frisco/Summit County has it all.
This condo is fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen including everything you'll need, from wine glasses to a crock pot. All bedrooms have night tables, dressers, closets, TVs, and clock-radios. The master bedroom has a king bed, private bathroom, separate dressing area, and deck access. The second bedroom has two beds (queen and twin) and a full bath. The third bedroom in the loft has a queen bed and its own bathroom as well.
The dining room, with a large dining table and chairs, flows into the living room which has a queen hideaway sofa, rocking chair, flat-screen TV (with upgraded cable channels), DVD, stereo with CD, gas fireplace, and deck access. The deck has a table and chairs. Many art and decorative pieces adorn the walls throughout the unit and free WiFi is provided.

We came up for the weekend with 2 other couples to go sailing and take in a National Repertory Orchestra concert. Although it rained too much to go sailing we enjoyed hanging out in the condo enjoying the spectacular views from the balcony. We wandered downtown, found delightful places to eat and just relaxed. The concert was amazing! The condo was comfortable and homey with plenty of room for 6 people. We would love to stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: I am a geologist and have a great fondness for the outdoors and the mountains. I am an avid skiier and hiker and have climbed many of Colorado's 14'ers (mountains above 14,000 feet). I also occassionally play tennis and golf love to relax in a hot tub. I have a demanding job and love to 'get away' when I have time off.
Why the Owner Chose Lake Forest:
I wanted a place that was easy to get to, within an hour of Denver, but with a spectacular setting that I would never tire of. I wanted to be very close to many different ski areas and year round activities. If my children moved from Colorado, I wanted a place that was easy to get to from Denver International Airport. so that we could always get together for holidays, special occassions, etc. This location is very quiet and serene, yet it is within minutes of any and all types of activities that people think of when they go on a vacation. I wanted to have a place that I would want to go to on a vacation. But, I wanted it to be close enough to Denver that I would use it.
