Welcome to Catie's Cove!!! Enjoy a spacious 2000 square feet beachfront luxury home on prime beach. Surf City’s beach is just off your own deck and the fishing pier is only a few minutes stroll away! With no streets between you and the sand, this is beach living at its best!
Catie’s Cove, which is named after one of our twin daughters, offers 3 very generous bedrooms stylishly furnished and over 2000 square feet of relaxation space, you and your group will find your vacation actually more enjoyable because our home is larger than most of the 4 bedroom houses (and even some of the 5 bedroom ones) for rent because you’ll have plenty of space to gather and to relax!
We carefully chose our (2012 was the 1st rental year) furnishings to maximize your comfort while accommodating up to 10 guests “in real mattress beds” and up to 15 guests if needed using convertible sofas.
Off Street parking for up to 5 cars, with 2-3 spaces covered!
BBQ Fun! You’ll have complimentary use of the gas BBQ grill with a picnic table to keep the party close to the food. There is a set of swings for the kids while they wait for their hotdogs & hamburgers. Also, there is a fully enclosed outside shower, perfect for cooling off without going all the way inside!
We have plenty of beach chairs plus a deck box at the beach filled with children’s beach chairs; umbrellas and lots of beach toys (buckets, shovels, kites, boogie boards, trucks, and more). Don’t stress about bringing toys for the beach, there’s plenty already!
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen (awesome cookware, blender, coffee machine, fun beach dishes, plenty of barware and kids cup & plates) to prepare your feasts! Open floor plan so you never miss any of the action inside or outside on the beach!
There’s a pair of front-load LG state of the art washer and dryer units if you need them!
The living room has full beach views or you can watch TV on a 43” HD flat panel TV with cable entertainment. Complimentary Netflix, a stereo with CD player and Aux input for your iPod/iPhone/smart phone is also at your command! A foosball table is ready for you and your best players! The deck has two rocking chairs and pub style table with 4 chairs.
Oceanfront Master Bedroom features a 4-poster King Sized Bed, a large luxury sitting area with a queen sofa sleeper, a 32” HDTV with DVD player, and its own spacious bathroom (dual sinks, shower with body sprays, space!). The deck off the master offers a porch swing to relax and enjoy the ocean views. Also on the deck, there is an additional exterior shower to rinse the sand off before entering the home.
Second Master Bedroom features a queen sized bed, a relaxation/reading/sitting corner with a convertible click-clack sofa, a 32” HDTV with DVD player, and its own bathroom.
The Cousins’ Suite offers everything tots to teens will love in a spacious room featuring a twin over full bunk bed with Trundle twin bed, a day bed with a trundle twin, a fun LCD TV w/Wii and DVD player, and its own access to the bathroom. There are children’s books ready for story time and an HDMI Cable ready for hooking up your xBox 360 or Playstation 3. The playful furnishings makes this a room everyone loves!!!

Clean and spacious for two families and six people total. Easy access to the beach/ocean. You are close enough to hear the roaring sound of the ocean. We only needed to bring our food, pretty much everything else is there for you. I would recommend to anyone. We could have slept easily another 5-6 people.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Absolutely beautiful property, exactly as described. Topsail beach is a gem and this place made our stay perfect. Our adult daughter enjoyed dominating her parents at foosball, we took long walks on the beach and just relaxed.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of 3 adults and 4 children had a blast at your home. The weather was perfect, the kids loved their spacious bedroom, playing with all the beach toys, flying kites, walking to town for ice cream. The house came fully equipped and was in tip top condition. The beds really comfortable and the kitchen perfect. I would definitely recommend this home except for people who have trouble with stairs. There are a great deal of steps in and outside of the house.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The house is lovely and has many wonderful features. Access to the beach is excellent as it is just down the stairs. Our children loved the swings and picnic table. Many of the local restaurants and even a coffee shop are with in a very reasonable walking distance. Catie's Cove is a great place to visit if you are looking for a very relaxing atmosphere in a small town setting.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We loved our stay at Catie's Cove! The location right on the beach was wonderful, offering beautiful views of the water. We loved watching the dolphins from the deck. We also saw spectacular sunrises and sunsets! Even though our get-away was in mid-February, we were able to enjoy brisk walks, collecting shells, and sea-watching on the deck. Sharon was very helpful in every way! They've really thought of everything, paying close attention to details for the comfort of their guests. Catie's Cove is spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. It's so relaxing and tranquil! I enjoyed my time there so much, I'm already planning my next trip! I would highly recommend this property!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We rented Catie's Cove to celebrate our grandsons first birthday. Beleive me, you would have to walk a country mile to find anything better than this. Everything previous reviewers said about the house was absolutely true. The house was immaculate and completely furnished with books, toys and had a fully stocked kitchen as well as lots of beach toys. The owners were very accomidating and cared about our stay. My favorite thing about the house was the amazing views as several adjoining homes were old style one stories so you got a prety wide panarama. It was cool but we enjoyed many walks on the beach and found seaglass and lots of shells. It's also close to the fishing pier and shopping/resturants. I will be staying again and have recommended to friends and family.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

What a fabulous place. Everything was perfect. The owners were so sweet and accomodating. It's right on the beach, though my 72-yr-old mother was not able to go down to the beach due to the many stairs. (I wouldn't recommend this house for someone with walking problems.) All amenities were there and available, flat screen TVs in every room, nice sheets/comforters, etc. I could easily just move in! And it's in a great neighborhood, and close to everything. I totally recommend, for anyone -- from couples to a full family. Kids would really love this place. I'd rate it five star across the board! This home is exactly as advertised. Extra clean and very tastefully decorated. The owners have truly thought of everything you may need. I am writing this on our last day and we don't want to leave. It has been the most relaxing vacation we have had in years. The beach is very quiet, it's like having your own private getaway. We had 3 families here in the beginning of our week and there was plenty of room for everyone-this is a spacious home. The porch swing outside the master bedroom is the perfect place to read a book or curl up and take an afternoon nap. There are beautiful views of the ocean from almost every window. The home is in walking distance for shopping or dining or site seeing. There are toys for the children and beach chairs. You won't need to bring a thing other than your linens and clothes. The owners are very responsive when called-the refrigerator stopped cooling (freezer still worked) and there was a repairman here within the hour. When it couldn't be repaired, the owners immediately purchased a new one and had it delivered right away. We were not inconvenienced in the least. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to others. We have rented some not so nice places in the past but Catie's Cove is exquisite!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Every year my family goes to Surf City/Topsail. This lovely home has become our favorite place. The location is great being right by the peer and in walking distance to everything you might need or want to do. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. There is plenty of room for everyone in the living area. Bedrooms are comfortable. Will definitely rent this house again.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

About the owner: Formerly from San Diego, I have a strong love for the beach! We moved from California to NC and fell in love with Topsail Island. I spend my time chasing my twin toddler daughters (Catie and Isabelle) and found Topsail Island a wonderful place for family adventures! We now have 2 properties available, each named after one of our twins. Catie’s Cove was available for vacation rentals last year 2012 and Belle’s Beach will be available this year for 2013 rentals! Belle’s Beach will have the same high end level of amenities as Catie’s Cove. New furnishings and thoughtful planning will ensure a comfortable and wonderful time! Everything you may want is only steps away! No street to cross gives us peace of mind and convenience, especially if you have children who need to go back and forth to the house and beach. You won't feel Closter phobic. Watch out for other rentals with 4 or 5 bedrooms but have 500-600 squarefeet LESS than our home. The space actually helps you relax and unwind vs. being cramped on vacation! Plus, only 3 blocks to the center of Surf city so walking to one of the restaurents or shops is a favorite thing to do!
