This beautiful home has the best views in the valley. Situated on the top of the hill just behind the Safeway in Fraser, provides unobstructed views to the entire valley and town below. There are no houses above us, and the houses below are far enough below that they don't obstruct the view in any direction. The great room has huge vaulted ceilings, sliding glass doors to access the deck, and 20 foot tall windows to take in the view. The great room has an open floor plan linking to the kitchen and a large fireplace to warm it in while watching a movie, socailizing, or just enjoying the views. We ususally have firewood in the garage which you are welcome to use. Its a large three bedroom / three full bathroom floorplan spread out over three floors - We share the place with 2 other couples and there is plenty of room for all of us.
The hottub is in an enclosed wooden (sauna like) room with a large window (that opens so you can cool off) allowing again unobstructed views of the entire valley and town below. The tub is a huge wooden soaking type tub (with jets). It is 8 foot across and 5 foot deep. It holds 8 people without the massive entaglement of feet and legs normally associated with large numbers in a tub. Speakers in the hot tub room can be turned on/off from the stereo upstairs. The room and tub really are a highlight of the place (towels are provided).
The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utinsils, pots and pans, baking dishes, spices, flour, oil, vinegar, blender, coffee maker, ... Just ask if your wondering about something that isn't listed, we love to cook so there's a good chance we have it up there.
There are 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The master has a huge elevated king bed with a rustic log frame, and a full soaking tub enclosed in glass with dual shower heads. The downstairs bedrooms each have queen beds and full bathrooms with tubs and showers. Heat can be individually controlled in each room. The place sleeps 6 on beds and an extra full mattress (thinner) is in the closet. The couch is a huge L shaped, but is not a hideabed.
There is a big screen TV in the great room (not HD) with basic cable, a dvd player, and a stereo. The stereo has hookups for a mp3 player and speakers in both the great room and hot tub room. There is also a TV with dvd player in the master bedroom armoire.
Were on the bus route, the stop is right across the street at the corner of ermine dr and wapiti. The bus comes every 30 minutes and will take you directly to ski hill, town, ...
There is also a single car garage (just long enough to fit my suburban with an inch or two to spare), and a heated mud room for drying off your clothes and boots.
We really feel fraser is the ideal location in Winter Park - its right near Safeway, has far better views of the valley than anywhere in winter park, and only a 1-2 mile drive to the center of winter park. In the summer you can mountain bike right from the house (the trails in fraser are phenominal and connect to the winter park and resort trail system). The paved bike/walking path also curves all the way from fraser through winter park and along the fraser river up past the resort.
Cleaning fee is a deposit - our cleaners charge by the hour, so we will refund any of your cleaning deposit that is not used (minimum charge of 50, as we required the cleaners to come by and check up on all cleaning). Hence if you want to do some of the cleaning to reduce the charge let us know (BE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF YOU INTEND TO TAKE THIS OPTION AS OTHERWISE THE CLEANERS WILL LIKELY REPEAT YOUR WORK AND CHARGE YOU).

Excellent location for skiing at Winter Park. Ski shuttle picks up and returns at front door. Spacious condo and kitchen. Great hot tub! We really like this house. The location was great, close to the stores and only about 15 minutes from the ski areas. We also went to the tubing hill which you can see from the house and a horse drawn sleigh ride a couple of miles away. The house has plenty of pans, dishes, spices, etc. Also towels, sheets and blankets. The only negatives would be the stairs (3 story) and us not being used to the altitude! Also, I didn't love the artwork (naked woman sorta animated but not good for the kids) in the living room. The furniture was dated but super comfy! Also, the hot tub is huge and there is a washer/dryer so you don't have to come home with dirty laundry. The garage was a plus, but only for a car/small SUV as it is a single but saved us from having to clean snow off everyday which we have never done since we live in S. Texas! Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definately be back! P.S. the owner Jason was great and very good with communication before, during and after our stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here for a few nights over Thanksgiving & absolutely loved it. The location is ideal and close to so many amenities & activities. The house itself was great for entertaining & for preparing/enjoying our holiday meal with friends. The hot tub was probably our favorite part of the house and was extremely relaxing. The owner was also so helpful & great at refunding the rest of our cleaning/damage deposit, which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Winter Park area!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at this Fraser condo. We really enjoyed the indoor hot tub, and the views were excellent. Additionally, it was a great value. The owner was helpful, and we were able to get most of the cleaning fee refunded after doing a couple hours of work before we left. We would definitely recommend the property to friends along with a nearby Mexican restaurant, Azteca. The food there was so good that we decided to go back a second night in a row!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Good location, convenient to all locations in Fraser Valley. Comfortable with good amenities the nice deck to view the sunset. A minor drawback is no bathroom on the main floor but there are 3 so a larger group is not cramped. The WiFi worked great. The owner was easy to work with and the price is reasonable.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Very spacious home with a great view and a large hot tub in the house. Great access to Winter Park ski resort and all the shops and restaurants in Fraser, and Winter Park. Would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This place was much bigger than the photos actually show and the view is awesome. The owners are great to work with. The location is great for just about any activity you would want to do, we skied and shopped in Winter Park. I was fearful that the place would have a pet smell since pets are allowed (we had a dog with us) but you could not tell any pet had stayed in this place. We would stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: Three close friends bought this home years ago and our families use it regularly for skiing, mountain biking, and just to get out of Denver.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Fraser-Ptarmigan:
This is our favorite resort in the front range. The bumps on Mary Jane are matched by none, you can still park at the base and hit your car for lunch or to swap skis. The mountain biking is amazing in Fraser and you can leave straight from the house. Its also within walking distance of Safeway, which is a huge plus in Winter Park.
