  This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at the Carriage House...and our winter vacation couldn't have been better. Jim and Beth top the list of gracious hosts and the accommodations are always warm and comfortable. With an abundance of hiking trails nearby, this is a wonderful jumping off spot for those adventurous travels...and for those not so adventurous, there's is always plenty to do year round in Fort Collins. The closest snow skiing is a bit of a drive (1-1/2 hours each way) but still makes for a great day trip. I highly recommend the Carriage House for anyone looking to stay in the Fort Collins area.

  The cottage was beautiful and immaculate. Pictures cannot do it justic! Everything you need (and then some) is provided for you. Beth and Jim were very friendly and helpful; they made us feel very welcome. The cottage backs up to a walking path with a pretty bridge and waterfall. There were a couple of bikes we could use and it was fun riding around seeing Fort Collins - we live in Denver and didn't realize what an interesting place it is. Beth and Jim gave us good tips on where to eat and where to hike, told us about the breweries (we never got to those so will have to go back!) etc. We had a great weekend and would definitely go back.

  It couldn't have been better. Everything was wonderful: the Murrays, the setting, the carriage house cottage. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. We loved it!

  We don't think 5 stars does this property justice! We planned our Colorado vacation around its availability and it was certainly worth it! The beautiful cottage, gardens and grounds are spectacular, and Beth and Jim are the perfect hosts. They have thought of every detail and have provided every possible amenity to make their guests comfortable, relaxed and happy. The location in Fort Collins is perfect, near the heart of activity yet quiet and peaceful. Our only regret is knowing it will be booked months in advance, as everyone who stays at the charming cottage will want to return. And we definitely hope to return as soon as possible!

  Our stay at the Carriage House was a wonderful one in every way. The apartment was well appointed and furnished; the photos accurately reflected the apartments appearance, amenities and cleanliness. the location couldn't be better. In addition, Jim and Beth are the perfect hosts.

  This is a great place to stay! The hosts are very nice and they helped us with everything we needed. The cottage is beautiful, well kept and has everything that you could need. The property is beautiful! They have a lot of fruit trees and a garden. It's in a great area, close to shopping centers and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. When we go back to Fort Collins we definitely will be staying here again!

  We loved our stay in the carriage house. The suite is spacious and airy, with very high ceilings, big windows, and many dormers and nooks for reading alcove, desk, dining table, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size s/s appliances, plenty of cooking gear, and well stocked pantry, enough to do some real cooking. The furnishings are informal, but beautiful and very high quality. The carriage house is a separate building on a large estate, with plenty of patios, gardens, and quiet get aways to settle in with a book. Back of the property is a public greenspace with trails, ponds, even a small dam & spillway. We saw wild rabbits and doves every day, and deer wandering around at night. Hosts Beth and Jim are wonderful down to earth people who were a joy to meet and so thoughtful. Everything about our stay was beautiful, peaceful, and so easy. We look forward to returning on future visits to Fort Collins. Todd & June

  We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this B & B! This cottage apt. was very clean and well-stocked with breakfast items for us! The decor was beautiful and the owners were very pleasant! Their gorgeous landscape outside was fantastic! If we are ever in Ft. Collins again, we will definitely stay here! Also, great location and close to restaurants, stores, etc. We did not want to leave!

  Our vacation in Ft. Collins was made so much better with our stay in Jim and Beth's place. This was truly a charming cottage thoughtfully furnished and decorated with an elegant country feel to it. The location was perfect with easy access to all sorts of outdoor, shopping, and downtown cultural activities. Two thumbs up!

  I cannot say enough nice things about this location and the hosts. They cottage is wonderful and the price is incredible for the location and the amenities. The hosts are wonderful people and made our stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend this location and we will definitely be staying here again!
