I promise this listing cannot accurately describe the true beauty of this location. The accommodations are very roomy, the vibe is so relaxing. Everything you need to cook a meal, there is even a dishwasher to help with clean-up. This property is very well maintained, extremely clean and most importantly safe. Off the main road enough to never deal with noise. This just adds to the ambiance, perfect for meditation. There is a small general store just a few quick minutes down the road, it’s well-stocked and open till 10. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to requests. He is very flexible and willing to work with arrival times. We were able to visit the Santa Fe National Forest to the north. Just a few miles to the south is Madrid. My favorite is the Mine Shaft Tavern in Madrid. The CrawDaddy festival was so much fun. Everyone was so friendly. I would totally recommend this location to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This apartment was a great find at the last minute, and the absentee owner was helpful and trusting. The property is spacious and well-equipped, practical, comfortable, but not luxurious. It is very good value for money. The scenery all around is great and the tower provides a great place to relax and take it in.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

The house is comfortable, and is spacious and well equipped for those who choose to cook. But with so many great restaurants and sites around Santa Fe and beyond the cooking we did was outside on the lovely patio that had a new grill and nice patio set. The owner was not present, but his care for the property was perhaps best reflected in the meditation tower. My family and I enjoyed the bunnies on the property and found ourselves in the meditation tower almost every evening to see the sunset framed by the beautiful mountains and the elegant background of NM. It was very hot, unusually so during the first few days, so additional cooling such as ceiling fan and additional a/c units would have been appreciated. I imagine that for a vast majority of renters 100 degree temperatures would not be a problem. The rest of the experience was so pleasant and so seamless leading up to the rental that I would not hesitate to highly recommend this beautiful place!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1985
About the owner: I built my home and have enjoyed Santa Fe country living for many years. Traveling, sailing, cooking playing music are a few of my interests.
Why the Owner Chose Other Santa Fe Properties:
The casita was originally built as a music studio, then having rented it for a few years long term I wanted visitors to get the country experience while visiting Santa Fe.
