For golfers, the 54 hectare "Planchetorte" course which beautifully meanders through the forest is 15 minutes away. Famous for rustic cuisine, the area produces some of the best food in France, foie gras, pate, truffles, confits, cabecou (delicious goat cheese), walnut wine, liqueurs, etc. Try some local home style fare at the restaurant a couple of doors down. There's a cafe a short walk up the hill and a bakery on the way to the lake for those morning croissants and fresh cabecou. All manner of watersports equipment can be hired at the lake or you may prefer just a quiet paddle.
