Get to a downhill ski area in ten minutes or cross country on many trails nearby. Great restaurants in nearby Williamstown, Pittsfield or Lenox. Two art museums are in Williamstown and MASS MoCA is just eight minutes further in North Adams. Pittsfield has fine dining, live theatre and the Berkshire Museum. Lovely shopping in Lenox and outlets in Lee. Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge. Summer music (BSO at Tanglewood,) theater (Willimatown Theater Festival, Barrington Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Shakespeare & Co. and dance at Jacob's Pillow.
