Pagosa Springs is a mountain community in South West Colorado offering 320 days of sunshine a year, beautiful scenery including mountains, lakes and waterfalls, lots of outdoor recreation, winter sports and much more. There is so much to do to keep busy. The house is located with the 1.8 million acre San Juan National Forest as your back yard. Fishing can be done within walking distance (Lake Forest) with a Pagosa Lakes Fishing permit available at the recreation center for a small fee. Lakes include rainbow trout, brown trout, largemouth bass, perch, and others. River fishing is available in town on the San Juan River. The quality waters of the San Juan below Navajo Lake are world renowned for the incredible trout fly fishing. Trophy hunting is available in the San Juans. Wolf Creek Ski area boasts the "MOST SNOW IN COLORADO" with an average of over 600 inches per year! Come play up in the mountains and stay in the middle of it all in Pagosa Springs.
