THE UNIT
We purchased this unit in 2011 and have COMPLETELY renovated it--we took it down to the drywall and bare floor before making it all new. Everything, from the carpet on the floor, to the paint and wood on the walls, to the tiled entryway, kitchen, and bathroom, to the furniture, is NEW. Well, the fireplace is original, but it's good looking.
This unit has an extended loft, which offers 125 (about 20%) more square feet than most other loft units at the Inn at Silver Creek. This loft features high ceilings (no popcorn in this one) and is very open with a sky light and ceiling fan.
Beetle-kill pine walls and accents give the unit a cozy mountain feel, and the wrought-iron balusters on the stairs keep the space roomy and classy.
Unlike most other properties on the site, we have a complete kitchen (with a FULL stove and dishwasher). The kitchen features new appliances, hickory cabinets, granite tile countertops, and a six-foot counter for eating (or gathering around for drinks). We have a brand new counter-height dining table with four chairs (the table expands and can easily accommodate these chairs as well as the three stools from the counter).
Bedroom loft contains a new king-sized bed, 32' flat screen TV and DVD player, dresser, nightstands, and two reading chairs. There is also a queen-sized murphy bed upstairs, if you need more room for sleepers (it's a great place to put the kids down).
Living area features a full couch (upgraded mattress in queen sleeper), two cube ottomans, and a 42' flat screen with DVD player (as well as cable).
We took the owner/linen closet out of the bathroom, opening up the space for a dual-sink vanity and new tub with tile walls and bench.
Since units at the Inn at Silver Creek are individually owned, the quality of renovations vary greatly. We take great pride in the work and extra touches we put into making our unit special for us.
THE AREA
The Inn at Silver Creek is 3 minutes from skiing at Granby Ranch, 17 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane. Just down the road in Fraser, you can go tubing, enjoy a sleigh ride, or book a snowmobile tour. We are 22 minutes from Hot Sulphur Springs, where you can relax in one of their 19 hot pools. We are also 5 minutes from Devil's Thumb and YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch.
As for summer fun, we are 10 miles from Lake Granby and just 17 from Grand Lake. Boating and fly fishing opportunities abound, as do places for horseback riding, hot air ballooning, or mountain biking. Granby/Grand Lake also offers access to the southern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, with Trail Ridge Road taking you over to Estes Park.
OTHER
The Inn at Silver Creek offers many on-site amenities you may not find at other locations. These include a year-round indoor/outdoor swimming pool, 4 hot tubs (2 inside, 2 outside), sauna, weight room, 2 racquetball courts (we have racquets in the unit for you to use), tennis and volleyball courts.
There are also a full restaurant and bar, beauty salon, liquor store, convenience store, arcade, and ski rental shop on site. Complimentary wi-fi is available in the unit.
Laundry facilities and barbeque grills are available on site.

This was my first time to Granby Ranch and Silver Creek Inn. I am so impressed by the value and overall experience this place offers. The condo we stayed at was really nicely remodeled and very comfortable for my family of five. We have spent lots of time at other resorts but plan to make Granby Ranch our new destination for skiing and for just getting away for quality family time.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We had a wonderful time! The condo is amazing - even better than the pictures. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family of four. I can't think of anything that was lacking. Our little boy started crying when we told him we had to leave.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This unit is in beautiful condition, clean, and well cared for. The location of the property is conveniently located. We could not have been more pleased. If you are going to RMNP it is less than thirty minutes away including views of beautiful lakes along the way, and far less congested than the Estes Park area.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Great condo for the price! Everything was incredibly clean, organized and all we needed! Close to RMNP, Winter Park activities, YMCA of the Rockies and Fourteeners! We loved being on the quiet side of the park. Enjoyed the local restaurants. Great facilities in the complex...and family friendly. We did feel like the description on VBRO is a bit misleading. The loft is the bedroom with King bed and murphy bed. The livingroom has a pull-out sofa. So I'm not sure how listing it as 1 bedroom + loft is accurate. But it does sleep 4-6, just not privately as we had hoped for with 1 BR. Other than that, everything was exactly as we expected and more! Great time hiking those great mountains! Loved Mavericks Restaurant in Granby and Carvers in Winter Park. We had an awesome stay at this property. It was roomy and very clean with. We have two children and the older teen really enjoyed the downhill mtn biking at close by Winter Park and our 7 year old couldnt have had more fun in the arcade and pool/hot tub area. We will be scheduling a winter get away using this same condo soon. Thanks to Eric for all the help in booking and actually staying two extra days!! Had a blast and will return soon!! We were very pleased to stay at this condo in Granby. We had everything we needed and more! The condo was beautiful and the pool/hot tubs were super fun. Can't wait to come back in the winter time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We came to Colorado for a wedding at Devil's Thumb, with other wedding activities in Grand Lake, and this property was perfectly located. The place was handsomely decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Silver Creek property has a great pool and we liked having the use of the laundry facility in our building. In addition to our wedding activities, we explored other area features like the beautiful ride through the Rockies, a short hike to some waterfalls in Grand Lake, and a healthy soak in the Hot Sulphur Springs. We also dined on some yummy meals in nearby Fraser, Tabernash and Grand Lake.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Wow...this condo was so nice. It was like staying in a brand new place. The kitchen was fully and nicely stocked. We saved a lot of money by eating in most of the time. The beds were comfy and the towels were even soft. The bathroom was very nice with a new tub and double sink. Two new tv's and VCRs. We rented movies at the Redbox for the evenings. We had so much winter fun that we plan to go back up for a summer visit. So perfect for the family! Colorado Adventure Park was great for tubing and Sol Vista was great for skiing. The kids liked the arcade in the lobby. The staff there was very nice and friendly. We felt right at home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Granby:
All of us live in the Denver area and grew up loving the Winter Park, Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park area. The Inn at Silver Creek is 90 minutes from our homes so we can get away easily.
We love to ski Mary Jane as adults and Granby Ranch with our kids. The YMCA Camp at Snow Mountain Ranch is 5 minutes away, and our kids have a ball in the craft room and rollerskating there. Sledding and tubing are great too.
Granby is just a varied and active year-round destination.
