With a spectacular river view setting, it features the charm of a traditional river home with the best of modern conveniences. Stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter! The large gourmet kitchen features granite counters, Wolf range, dishwasher, large refrigerator, and pergo floor in the large dining area.
The large living room has knotty pine to show the traditional river home look, two sofas, large tv, dvd, and a great river rock fireplace, light and comfortable.
A California king bed is in the upstairs bedroom, and the two ground floor bedrooms have great queen beds,two bedrooms have river views. The upstairs bedroom has LCD tv and dvd for your entertainment. There is a kids cubby with foam floor (queen size). We have high thread count sheets, nice pillows, and memory foam on the queen beds. This is a vacation house, not a party house please, and no "camping" with extra guests allowed.
High speed wireless internet is available, bring your laptop. Central heat, washer/dryer, central vacuum, all the features of a modern home with the great riverfront setting that nature provides.
Large front yard can be enclosed for pets and kids, larger back yard has patio and lawn, river view deck, and nice steps down to the water. Gas BBQ, umbrella, table and chairs make the back patio the hang out spot. The river view deck is fun for kids and adults, seat swing and benches great for wildlife viewing.
Two kayaks and a canoe are great for river play, the water is low and slow in the spring, summer, and fall, great for enjoyment.
The lush green and river views make you and feel as far away from the city as possible, yet only 90 minutes from SF. Easy to relax and enjoy for kids and grown kids.

We love Rosie's and our guests do too. Great family vacation place, easy to spend days here with the river, yards, and quiet neighborhood.
Why the Owner Chose Duncans Mills
This spot on the Russian River has possibly the best weather, generally out of the fog, cooler in the summer than Guerneville, and easy to get everywhere. We are well off of the main streets, quiet and peaceful. An abundance of birds grace our neighborhood, duck, geese, heron, finches, hummingbirds, and more. Great views from both the front and back, we are grateful to be able to be here.
The coast is a short drive, Bodega Bay to the south and beautiful views driving both north and south. There are many places to go and sights to see, and it also easy to relax and have it all come to you at Rosie's.
