The home was clean and comfortable as advertised. The lanai and pool area was very large and facing the south for nice sunsets. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in and the open floor plan was was very nice. The Wi-Fi did not work and there was no instruction sheet available for the a/c unit, TV's, and pool heater (which we never used). The ice maker did not work but using bags of ice was available. No garage opener was an inconvenience. The fact that the owner rented out the home for next year before we had a chance was surprising but obviously, it was a business decision. The location of the home was great, close to everything. We rented a home close by for next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: The wifi works great, it was the older laptop that the guest brought that did not work properly. I brought an Ethernet cable for the guest, to accommodate his broken laptop. Verified the wifi with my iPad, iPhone and my laptop. All good. Yes they did use the pool heater, it was on all month. It is fully automatic, no adjustment necessary. There were Comcast documentation present on the property along with manuals for all TV's and cable gear. Sears no longer carries garage door openers for those Craftsman old school garage doors. But they work great! Property was rented for 2014 prior to your arrival from a 3 year returning customer.

we had a great time. spent most of our time fishing. the place was as advertised. was close to everthing. would love to go back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, pet owners.

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO home and found it very clean and well maintained. We immediately felt at home and the owner was always helpful in answering any of our questions. The house is extensively redecorated with new state of the art kitchen applicances and new furniture throughout. The beds in all three bedrooms were the best. We enjoyed the huge flat screen TV as well as the patio and heated pool. We would highly recommend this property!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a great time and were very satisfied. The rental was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Great location in a nice neighborhood. The pool was super clean; the dock was convenient to Charlotte Harbor so we rented a pontoon boat. Shopping and lots of restaurants nearby, as well as easy access to major roads. The house was clean, the master bedding had a cologne smell, so not sure if it was changed before we got there? The biggest concern was we had booked it Sat.-Thur, leaving by 10am on Friday, and on Thur the owner texted me telling me we needed to be out on Thur as he had another group coming in. I had to get my email receipt out to confirm he was wrong. This was very disturbing, as we were trying to enjoy a day of golf and had to deal with this for about an hour or so. Prior to this, we were planning on booking it again for next year, but this scared us away. The owner otherwise seemed nice and helpful. I would recommend tub anti-slip mats, throw rugs for bathroom floors, bars of soap, and clean linens. Besides that, we enjoyed our stay. Nice to have a grill and be so close to Fort Meyers. We ate at Lashely's crab house and a mexican restaurant in Punta Gorda, both excellent. Would I recommend this property? Not sure, the mix up on dates was unnerving, as I had called to confirm things the week before. Owner was little hard to reach by phone. Pool was nice and warm, new kitchen and tile very nice.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Client booked Friday March 24-29, Agreed to the contracts online with dates clearly printed on both contract and payment emails, and paid his fees. Before his arrival, he asked if he could change the departure date as his plans had changed. I told him that that would be difficult as there was someone booked the next day. Later I was able to extend his departure date. The cleaning crew arrived according to the initial departure date. After a few minutes, I was able to reschedule the cleaning crew. For his few minutes of mixup, I did not charge the Client for that day. All linens were clean, everytime, and brand new. We do use air fresheners to make the place smell fresh. Bars of soap were in the property, when they asked me about them, without even looking, I went to get them the soaps they needed. Upon their exit, upon inspecting the property, I found 10 additional bars of soap in the laundry room with all the other soap supplies.
