Las Gaviotas is a private, gated community of about 300 homes located just 30 miles from the US border. Rosarito Beach is just 8 miles to the north and Ensenada 45 miles south. Puerto Nuevo, famous for lobster dinners is only 1 mile away.
The main floor of our house has two bedrooms (both queen sized), two baths, open kitchen, dining area and living area. The ocean side has floor to ceiling windows with spectacular ocean views with a sliding door leading to a small deck with chairs and the BBQ. Upstairs is a large deck with table and umbrella, chairs and two loungers for sunbathing. Two more bedrooms are located downstairs (one full sized bed, one trundle bed).
The house is equipped with TV (24 cable channels, DVD and tape player), stereo, and CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a convection oven, gas cook top, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, blender (a must for Margaritas!) toaster, coffeemaker, etc. We also have a washer and dryer. The house is smoke free.
The community is well landscaped with palm trees, flowers, bougainvilleas and other tropical plants along the flagstone walkways. A malacon runs the length of the community above our private beach and in some places so close to the water you will get splashed on at high tide. There is a heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, volley ball court on the beach and children’s play area.
