Our beautiful Los Angeles home is available for your families visit to Los Angeles. Located in Brentwood within walking distance to the famed 'restaurant row' , shopping, whole foods and celebrity watching! Also walk to a public park and tennis courts just 2 blocks away, where there is a rec center and playground, plus nearby dogpark. Hop on our bikes or drive to Santa Monica; the beach is 4 miles away! Minutes from the Skirball, Hammer and Getty Museums and movie theaters. Easy drive to Six Flags, Disneyland, Universal Studios. Close to 405 freeway for access to all LA attractions, minutes from Westwood and Beverly Hills, easy drive to Hollywood and very convenient to LAX airport and the valley.
Our street is a quiet residential street, and it a dead end so there is no through traffic. We live on a cul-de-sac, so it's very quiet. Yard is completely fenced, well behaved dogs are welcome! We have a lovely large backyard with a built in pool, patio with barbeque, lots of seating for outdoor dinners, and covered back porch.
House is east coast style shingle home from the 1940's. It is furnished with comfortable antiques and all amenities. Lovely light, lots of windows in every room. Chefs kitchen with stainless appliances, 5 burner stove, center island with 3 stools, and breakfast nook that seats 6, Every appliance/kitchen gadget you could imagine! Formal dining room/library seats 8 -10. Living room with fireplace, Den with bar and TV/DVD, Family room with TV/DVD/VCR, fireplace and powder room. All three of these rooms have french doors leading to the beautiful backyard. Tons of board games, video games and movies. Four bedrooms downstairs: 2 double (one with TV/PS3), 1 kids room with 2 twins (these 3 bedrooms share two full baths, one with tub) and additional nannies room with twin and bath with shower off the kitchen. Upstairs is private master bedroom with King Bed, fireplace, TV/DVD, dressing area, his and her sinks, separate in suite bathroom with large soaking tub and bidet, with porch overlooking the backyard.
Backyard is private and sunny, with beautiful heated pool and jacuzzi, built in gas grill with small refrigerator, back covered patio with dining table for 6, plus long dining table in back yard that seats 10. Hammock and firepit. Garage has laundry, ping pong table, couch and game system, darts, drum kit. Basketball hoop in driveway. 2 kids bikes and 2 adult bikes plus beach chairs, boogie boards etc for your use. You may also arrange to use our 2007 Honda Pilot SUV which seats 8 for local use at an additional fee.

About the owner: Robert and Michelle live in this home with their 3 boys and 2 dogs. We are in the entertainment business (Michelle is a writer and actor, Robert is a theater director and producer) and oldest son Alec is an art student at Otis School of Design. Twin boys are in middle school.
Why the Owner Chose Brentwood:
We love this house because it feels like the east coast, where we are both from. It has a country feel, with lots of beautiful light. And you can't beat the location, it is close to everything, but doesn't feel like it's in the city. We love it here and you will, too!
