Wildlife abounds yet minutes to Littleton NH for afternoon shopping or antiquing. Lincoln is just thru the notch..check out The Flume, Lost River, Tram ride to the top of Cannon Mt.,bike paths thru the Notch, Miniature golfing or play 9-18 holes at one of the local golf courses! Endless hiking trails surround the area along with great biking opportunities from trail paths to beautiful road rides. Skiing at Cannon Mt., Bretton Woods and Loon - All of which are close.
Accomodations:: Comfortably sleeps 11 plus 2 more sleeper sofas. Lots of room to spread out with 7900 sq. feet. Three floors of living space allows for all, to relax, play and sleep .Plus bathrooms and bedrooms on each floor. Master suite on first floor along with Kitchen, Dining room, Living room, mudroom and entranceway. Large fieldstone fireplace to relax by and reminisce on day! Lower level offers one large kingsize b/r with 3/4 bath for privacy. Another living room space (perfect for the kids) with air hockey and games. The second floor features 3 full bedrooms, loft , full bath and large gathering room.
Area:: A perfect mountain escape....step away from it all with this log retreat! Spacious and private. Enjoy sightseeing, hiking or shopping at either Littleton, Licoln or travel across the Kangkamangous to Outlet shopping in North Conway. Skiing at Cannon (just 6 miles away) or at Bretton Woods, Loon or waterville. Biking and or hiking surround the local towns and areas. Wildlife is abundant! Moose and bear have roamed thru the yard or bird watch by day from the Southern facing wrap around deck. Relax while the sun sets with breathtaking views! We definitely had a great time! We have rented a different lodge just a mile away from this location. In comparison this lodge was way better.The entire house was very clean and well maintained and not to forget the interior was very artistically completed. We spent an hour after arriving, to check out each room and the artistic décor in each corner. Almost everything that we needed for a comfortable relaxing getaway was provided. We were not left wanting for anything else. There was more than enough room for every individual/or family in our group to create his/or her perfect getaway. The basement game corner was a big hit with the kids in our group. The garden was very large and was a perfect setting for some of our lawn games. I don’t think the photos on the website did enough justice. Overall, there was much much more to this house than was advertised online. I don’t think the site carried any photos of the two large bedrooms. We will definitely be back for another vacations and this time we will try to stay for a week. My extended family (ages 2 to 85) gathered for a vacation, and found the location/house to be perfect. The White Mountains are memorable for their beauty & fun to explore. The house is spectacular, exactly as depicted by the photos. Callie was wonderful to work with. She responded to all inquiries, provided detailed information/helpful hints about the house, sights, activities & restaurants. My entire family has wonderful memories of Franconia & thankful for your hospitality. This home was amazingly beautiful inside and out! We had a wonderful memborable time with our whole family!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Weekly rental Sat/Sat stay is $2800 per week plus 9% rooms and meals tax. A $500 refundable security deposit to hold your property and is returned within 5 days of departure providing property is left in the condition upon arrival. If house is not left in orderly, clean manner a $250 cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
