I stayed at Trinity Square flat with my two adult children for three nights. The location is fabulous. It is right next to the Tower Hill Tube station which made our travels throughout the city a breeze. It was wonderful to return after a long day of being out and about sightseeing to the home-like comforts and quiet location of this well maintained and exceptionally clean flat. The flat offered a great place to relax and rejuvenate for the next day's activities. While it is a bit small, everything is extremely well laid out and very efficient. It was somewhat tight for three of us (my son is 6'4") but the space and comfort were miles beyond what we got in a one night stay at a London hotel; it would be perfect for a couple. The staircase is definitely very steep so not for anyone with climbing issues. Also the (extremely comfortable) bed is on a raised platform requiring a climb up a short ladder (about 4-5 steps) which might be difficult for someone with physical restrictions. I cannot say enough about how pleasant it was to deal with Paul. He was so helpful and extremely professional from the moment I expressed interest in renting the flat. He was incredibly responsive when I had questions and quick to resolve a very minor issue prior to my arrival. I could not have been more pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Trinity Square flat to friends and family without hesitation.

Great location near Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Shad Thames. Tower Hill tube station is 2 minute walk (5 minute walk with two kids that need to do laps around the park). Easy access to all of London by tube. Great view from roof. Fabulous restaurants just steps away. Flat was as advertised. Small but very efficient. Perfect base for a family of 4 (two kids 5 & 7) to explore London. Would not recommend for families with younger children because of spiral staircase, but it was perfect for our kids who slept on a high quality air bed in the living area. Very helpful instructions and suggestions included in the flat, which other guests have supplemented. Wireless Internet is extremely valuable. Owner is very pleasant to work with.

Thank you Paul for sharing your lovely flat with us. We had a great stay and found the location excellent and the flat itself nicely furnished and beautifully clean with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you need and we occasionally made use of the pub downstairs - great food and atmosphere. The comfy bed set in the alcove was fun - very unique and quite cozy. All in all a fabulous stay and we would love to return one day.

My family of three stayed at Trinity Square Flat the week prior to Christmas 2011. My husband had visited London before but this was my and our 19 year old son's first trip out of the USA. The flat was the perfect choice!!! The location was perfect to reach the tube, or just walk. The pubs in the area were awesome. The views from the rooftops were amazing day and night. The flat was comfortable and well equipped for our needs. My only issue was with the washer/dryer which was a combination unit that I was unfamiliar with!! It is a perfect rental place. The trip was an experience that we will never forget and the ease of the rental process with Paul and the comfort of the flat made it even better. Hopefully we will be able to visit the lovely city of London again and would surely try to rent this flat and would recommend it to anyone! Paul was also extremely helpful recommending transportation from the airport, and recommending transportation to soccer (oops, I mean football) games that we attended. My wife and I had a wonderful time in London, and a large part of that was because of this great flat. You can't beat the location and the price. It was perfect for walking to St Paul's or the Tower Bridge, but when we walked too far and got tired, we could just hop on the Tube and get off close to the flat. And, vice versa, the Tube made it easy to shoot over to farther parts of London easily. It's a cozy flat, with a nice kitchen and full appliances (the combination clothes washer/dryer was a neat new experience). A couple of grocery stores are within easy walking distance, so we could stock up and save money by eating "at home." It's clean and well-maintained, and we felt very secure. Some vacations you look back and make a list of the things you'd do different, but this is one location we'd go back to in a flash.

Trinity Square Flat was our best experience ever. We got so much more than we ever expected. We were greeted at the front door by the manager. She helped us with our bags and took us to the flat where she gave us the grand tour and instructions on everything. The flat is so well appointed, there was even tea waiting for us. There was absolutely nothing we needed to get but our food. The flat had many tour books and the owner provides a guide to London that rivals Frommer's. The location couldn't be more perfect. We could walk to markets, dry cleaner, Post office , dozens of restaurants and more. The underground was steps from the flat and we were able to get all over London without issue. You are right across the road from the Tower of London where we were able to see the Ceremony of the Keys. You have to get tickets way in advance but the owner gave me instructions and we scored! The wireless internet worked flawlessly and the TV had more stations than you could watch. The shower was fabulous and has its own water heater and the washer-dryer worked flawlessly. We saved thousands of dollars by staying at the flat instead of a hotel. Plus, the roominess made one feel that they were in a home instead of being in a claustrophobic hotel room where it costs 5 bucks every time you want a cup of coffee. Saving the best for last, the phone in the flat is a universal phone so you can call home for free anytime as well as many other Euro countries. We would never stay anywhere else. You really feel London at the flat.

We had a lovely short but sweet stay at the little flat in London... The view from the roof of the building was breathtaking, and even better than we imagined. The flat was ideally located and kitted out with everything we could possibly need. Not that we chose to cook for ourselves, especially with a fantastic pub serving food (and great coffee) from early morning, a 2 minute walk from our door. The Admiral offers all types of dishes, even vegetarian. Thanks to the owner for the info on getting to and from the flat, and around London. We walked everywhere, and took in the sights on foot; around every corner we came across one landmark after another! Access to the tube was also so close by for times we ventured further afield. Being so centrally located made our day trips quick and easy. The flat was clean and neat, and prefect for the three of us. As the owner advised us, the accomodation could sleep three adults, plus a couple of kids, but would not suit 5 adults. Whilst the flat is small, it felt spacious being spreadout over two floors. Perfect for a couple or small family. Thanks again to the owner for answering our emails and queries ahead of time so promptly. We will definately be back to stay, next time we're in London.

My family stayed at the Trinity Square flat in August - we loved every minute of it. GREAT location and the owner's involvement throughout the process was invaluable ... including support prior to the visit and instructions on how best to travel to the flat and points of interest close by while on site. We loved the convenience of the flat, it was exactly as promised --- even better. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in London now that we've been so spoiled. It felt like home away from home, safe, convenient and very well maintained. A terrific spot. Thank you Paul!

A couple of friends and I had a terrific stay at Paul’s flat! We were absolutely amazed at the location: situated right across the street from the impressive Port of London Authority building and the lovely Trinity Square Gardens, the flat overlooks the Tower of London and, just beyond it, the iconic Tower Bridge. Absolutely stunning view. The Tower Hill Tube Station is no more than a couple minutes walk down the sidewalk and there are several good restaurants and pubs in the area. The apartment itself is the ideal London flat. Not too large, but by no means cramped, Paul (the owner) has thoughtfully stocked it with all the essentials (and many luxuries!) for a very comfortable stay. Kitchenette and laundry appliances were extremely useful. Also, for travelers, free Wi-Fi and long distance calling are invaluable. Paul was exceptionally easy to work with, making the trip all the more enjoyable and reducing so many of the stressful details that are so prevalent on trips. I recommend it in a heartbeat. Hoping to go back some day!

"Said Cheers to the Queen of England!" Our family of 3 adults and 2 teenagers spent 3 nights at Paul’s Trinity apartment in June. Cosy, if a little cramped for our large group, but it suited our needs perfectly as we took off early each morning after a filling, and inexpensive breakfast at the corner pub, and a pleasant short walk to the tube. We attend the Ceremony of the Keys, had a romantic evening walk down by the river, (it’s a relaxing, safe area), and even got a wave from the Queen of England. We returned one evening and noticed a Bentley parked outside Trinity House next door flying the Royal Standard. We where having a pleasant banter with the Bobbies milling about in the light drizzle when Queen Elizabeth and the Prince Consort came out, gave us a smile and drove off. We enjoyed returning to the peace of the neighborhood after our days in the hustle and bustle of the city, yet we remained in all that history right out the door. Paul was timely and polite with all correspondence. My only caution would be to those contemplating staying with small children. A comparison might be a (2 story) one room hotel in the States, privacy is not to be had. But if you just want an affordable place to crash after getting as much out of London as you can. This apartment has the right address.

This apartment was just what we were looking for! My son and I visited London in May, 2011 and stayed at this apartment. We had never been to London before and wanted something in a good location and close to the tube. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The apartment is in a secure building and we always felt safe in the building and neighborhood. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to have a place to come back to where we could lounge around and relax. Eating out all the time can get old no matter where you are, so being able to have food on hand was a big plus. Even though the apartment has a stove, I'm not one to cook when on vacation and the nearby Tesco had a nice selection of ready made sandwiches, salads, etc., in addition to the usual grocery store fare. For me, one of the best features of the apartment is the clothes washer. I expected the weather to be a bit warmer and didn't bring enough warm clothes, so it was nice to wash a few things that I could wear again. Being so close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge was the icing on the cake. The views from the roof of the building are awesome. We took the tube everywhere and the Tower Hill tube station is just minutes away. It was a short ride on the tube to wherever we needed to go. I was apprehensive about renting an apartment, as I'd never done this before, but dealing with Paul was a pleasure. He was very thorough in explaining the process, always answered my e-mails/questions promptly and provided a wealth of information. We hope to go back to London and would definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting London!

As described in the listing, the location is just moments away from the Tower of London and the Tower Hill tube station. The neighborhood is busy during the day, and is quiet in the evening without feeling “deserted.” The building itself felt safe, and was clean and quiet; and the lift was larger than many European hotel elevators. The flat has two levels, and the layout maximizes the space. There was a good amount of natural light from the windows, and nice blinds for privacy. From an American perspective it might seem small for an apartment, but it’s bigger and has much more of a “home” feel than any hotel I’ve stayed at in London. The loft bed upstairs has its own little nook, with the bathroom on the opposite side of the upper floor. The kids slept downstairs with no problems, and found the inflatable bed to be very comfortable. The integrated air pump in the bed made inflating/deflating it a simple task. Being able to cook meals at the flat saved us from eating out every meal. In addition to the nice quality pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc., the kitchen also had some cooking basics like salt and vegetable oil. There were several small appliances, including toaster, electric kettle and coffee maker, in addition to the larger appliances; and all were of the sort of quality you would have in your own home. The bonus of having a washer/dryer while we were there allowed us to pack light and avoid extra baggage fees. The free wi-fi was another huge bonus, letting me work from both my iPhone and laptop - especially considering other London hotels I’ve stayed at charge £12 per hour for internet access! Significantly, the owner of the flat, Paul, was always responsive to my emails, and was very easy to communicate with. He went over and above to make sure we had keys to the flat before we left for London. And if you do stay here, you must go up to the roof at least once. It’s an incredible view! Cons: The spiral staircase and three step “ladder” to the loft bed might be difficult for people who have trouble getting around. And if you have four people, you’ll probably want to deflate the air mattress if you’re going to have a sit down meal in the flat. Neither of these were concerns for us, though. Overall we the whole family loved staying here. I’d highly recommend Trinity Square Flat, and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Trinity Square Flat in London in early November 2010 right after my deployment in Iraq, and it was a wonderful choice. We flew into Stansted and took a Terravision bus to Liverpool Street/Station. The apartment was less than a ten minute walk from there. We bought the London Pass - highly recommended for the unlimited travel alone. The closest station (Tower Hill) was literally a 30 second walk from the apartment. Words cannot express how excited I was with the location. The apartment is also in an affluent part of the city so no need to worry about running into a rough crowd. Walk just past Tower Bridge and you will find a dock area with a bunch of restaurants/bars - very nice. Also, the Jack the Ripper Tours start at Tower Hill Station; one . The apartment was perfect for my husband and I. If you see the picture of the loft containing the bed and are worried about it being too small/short - worry no more. My husband is 6'5 and had no problems. Having a washer/dryer and kitchen was very useful as well. I'm sure you know that London is quite expensive so we mostly lived off groceries (instead of going out) while we were there. The free calling to the States was nice (won't get that in a hotel!). Also, there was a plethora of London guide books in the apartment in addition to the "Guide to Trinity Square Flat" containing nearby restaurants, grocery stores, historical locations, etc. Don't forget to go to the roof of the building for great views of Tower Bridge! Definitely recommend!

I would stay here again without a doubt. --It is so tastefully decorated, is very comfortable and fashionable, and has all of the comforts of home--even down to very little details. Everything is nice quality (bedding, furniture, kitchen/appliances, bathroom, windows, decorations, etc.). --The owner goes out of his way to provide everything you need to navigate your stay, including finding grocery stores and restaurants, touring London;'s well known tourist spots and local secrets, etc. He even has print outs of his self-created walking tours! It was like having self-guided tour options all laid out for us and a concierge as well! He even has internet included. --Even though it is small, my husband and I and, believe it or not, 4 kids (infant, toddler, 9 and 11 year old) managed to squeeze in well. --The location was amazing. So much was right there, but the Underground station was a short block away and quickly took us anywhere in London. --The owner's communication skills are also excellent. He is so responsive to emails and phone calls. He provides tons of information, makes the booking process easy, sends keys to you in advance if possible. He was personable and made us feel trusting in the "deal"....that it was legitimate. --Would definitely stay here again.

In real estate, and I would submit in vacation rentals, it’s all about “location, location, location.” By that standard, Trinity Square Flat is as good as it gets! Essentially across the street from The Tower of London, yet nestled in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, and convenient to excellent pubs and restaurants, that is Trinity Square Flat. The space is beautiful, clean, cozy and simply the perfect spot for a few days of enjoying the incredible city of London. I don’t know whether I‘ll have the joy of returning to London. However, I know that, if I do, my home base will once again be Trinity Square Flat! Mike in Winston-Salem

For my mom's 65th birthday I wanted to do something really special. While in college, I spent a semester at the LSE. I fell in love with every nook and cranny. I even liked the Barbican. Without my mom's support and sacrifice I wouldn't have had such an incredible opportunity, so I decided to share the city I love with her. Now, there are three parts to picking where to stay in London. Price. Comfort. Location. You can have two of the three at any given time. YOU WILL NEVER GET ALL THREE. At least that is what I thought until a friend recommended Trinity Square Flat. For the same price as a night in an okay London hotel room in an okay location, I got a fabulous 2-level furnished apartment; complete with a modern kitchen, washer and dryer, tv, free internet and phone, ACROSS the street from the Tower of London. When my mom saw the historic building, her jaw literally dropped open. When we got inside the apartment, she smiled, her eyes sparkled, she looked and me and said, "I can't wait to tell Lynette. She is going to be so jealous!" Every morning we would either make our own breakfast or if we weren't in the mood, eat at the pub on the ground floor of the building. Then we'd walk across the street to people-watch at the Tower while we planned out our day. Or not plan it. You are so close to everything. Pick a direction. Start walking and you will find something(s) to entertain you in less than five mnutes. There's also a tube stop (Tower) just across the small but beautiful park. I can't say enough great things about Trinity Square. so I'll just leave you with what my mom said to me on the flight home. "Thank you honey for the trip of a lifetime."

My wife and I just rented from Paul. Very honest and great guy. Don't be concerned about the "Wire Transfers" for deposit and payments. The keys will me mailed and there will be a flat there when you arrive!! Great location at Tower Hill / Financial District. Subway or Underground is just around the corner for travel to all attractions. Best way to travel the city in our opinion. Everything is really within walking distance too if your up for the walk down the Thames or across Tower Bridge. Taxi can be hailed right outside the doors for those of us that are lazy; meaning me. As for the flat / apartment, it really feels like home away from home. It is really clean, neat, and all the appliances work. A big plus + for us was the level of quiet in the building. You cannot hear the neighbors and being on the top floor was great. You can't put a price on that. The free calls back home with the free internet WIFI was also a major convenience for us. Big Big Bonus!!! There are plenty of guides, maps, books, and information about the city that is also very helpful in the apartment. Great view of the city and Tower Bridge from the easy and accessable roof. There is a great pizza place down the street and a few pubs or restaurants close to the flat. Most important FYI on the food scene is: CHECK CLOSING TIMES!! Grocery is also very close if you prefer to cook as we did. If you are coming into Pauls' Apartment / Flat through any London airport then taking a TAXI is best in our opinion. Around 60-80 pounds or $100-$120US. Taking a lot of luggage through the Underground / Subway does not look like a lot of fun. If your on the cheap or have little luggage, then Underground / Subway is your cup of tea. Good luck... Lastly, but most importantly, we want to thank you Paul for the great service and stay at your place. London is a great city and one of our favorites traveled. Thanks for the hospitality, memories, and we look forward to another stay at your place when we come back. I'll recommend your place to all our friends and family if they are coming to London for a visit. For your future guests, you have made the right decision in choosing this apartment if your looking for comfort and convenience. Thanks again Paul, Jon & Shelley B Newport Beach, California

Stayed here with family for a 4 day business/vacation trip. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities listed. The washer/dryer combo and phone service were HUGE bonuses. We had a small snafu with the wireless internet, but it was quickly resolved. The location is wonderful, walking distance to the tube, Tower Bridge, South Bank and a couple of tube stops to the main attractions. Use the directions that will be provided when you book if you are taking the tube. There are a number of combinations that you could use, but the one supplied is best, trust me. We would absolutely stay here again.

My adult daughter and I stayed here in late February 09. Two thumbs up..if you want to be close to it all, have a lovely veiw and lots of privacy, then book this flat. Also provided are many books and maps to aid in your planning of what to do and see, it's very close to many walking tours and the Tube. Many places to eat nearby. I hope to return with my husband in the future and would certainly seek out this rental again if Paul has a vacancy.

My wife and I stayed in the Trinity Square flat in March 2008 (just now writing the review January 2009). All transactions with the owner were professional, he was very responsive, and there was never a worry about anything. The location was great - especially with the Tower of London only 3 minutes walk away! The fact that it was right off of the Tower Hill tube stop was very helpful as well. The owner helped us with any question we had from where to eat nearby, to transportation inquiries, to sightseeing - he was critical in our successful trip. The flat was spotless and perfect for the two of us - we loved the alcove bed and the spiral staircase. The TV was not working while we were there but we were so exhausted each night that it did not matter. I would DEFINITELY recommend this flat to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable base for their London trip. I will most assuredly be looking to stay here again on our next trip to London. Enjoy!!

We were also a group of 5: 2 adults and 3 children, our eldest is 15, so almost an adult. Yes it was squeezy especially with all our luggage (we were on a 9 week round the world trip) but we had great fun rearranging ourselves and yes we did fit in. Paul does warn us about this so it was not a total surprise. Really the best thing about the apartment is the location: convenient to the Tube, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. There are Restraunts nearby and Tesco supermarket is 5 minute walk away. There is a larger supermarket at St Katherines Dock. Paul gives excellent directions. We found Avis car rentals at the Hotel on the Waterfront just past Tower of London and under the Bridge. We took a day trip to South of London. Paul supplies a great selection of guide books and some detailed notes on what to do locally. Unfortunately wedidn't get time to do most things. We had to contact the apartment management twice during our stay. The hairdryer blew up and a new one was supplied the next morning. Also on leaving the apartment we locked up as instructed and then discovered we had left a bag upstairs locked inside the apartment. We frantically called Kremena (the manager) and fortunately she was able to get her cleaner to come in and start work early so she could let us back in the apartment. Fortunately we made check in for our flight with 5 minutes to spare. Thanks ladies!

We had a wonderful week in London. The flat was perfect for the 2 of us. We loved the location, so close to the Tube stop and to the Tower and Tower Bridge. We also enjoyed St. Katharine's Dock. We took the train to York for the day (great!) and also a bus tour to Windsor Castle, Bath and Stonehenge. But mostly we explored London on the Tube and on foot, and we had a blast!

Our family of five took the apartment for 5 nights mid July 2008. The advert states 5 max and that is pretty accurate. We were tight but it was doable - our 12 year old slept on a couple of chairs pushed together. There was a blowup bed I believe but we never used it as given our crew size we not have known where to put it really. The apartment itself though small is quite attractive in many ways including location (close to Tower, subway, quiet area), building character, updates and modernization and so forth. The owner and service person were quite friendly and helpful. Some problems existed though and they all go to a lack of maintenance of the property: sticky door lock (I screwed in a screw myself which seemed to help), broken blind, minor etc. Quite annoying for us also though, especially as we had rented this apartment in part precisely as we could do our laundry while there before going off on the rest of our British holiday tour, was a broken clotheswasher/dryer, though also broken microwave, inoperable coffee maker (or at least we couldn't make it work), broken oven and front burners. Effectively, most appliances seemed to be out of order during our stay which was disappointing. Apparently some workmen were going to arrive eventually to address some of these issues but they didn't appear during our stay. Still, in spite of these difficulties and the rather cramped quarters, it was a decent enough pied a terre while in London as we spent little actual time in the apartment. We can recommend it generally, and especially as the appliances situation will presumably be resolved for future clients.

I would echo what the Townsends said in their comment (June 2008). We were also a family of five (2 adults, three children) and we stayed for four nights. This was our first trip and Paul gave great directions from the airport. All transactions were professional and well done. Communication was excellent. The location was excellent: near a nice little park, very near the Tube, and of course right across the street from the Tower. The view from the roof is great. There is also a good supermarket pretty close (within a 5-6 minute walk), and lots of restaurants, banks and cash machines nearby. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen worked well. Would definitely recommend. It's a little tight for five people (not surprising) but definitely doable. It's split level so the family can spread out. A wonderful time in London.

We just returned from a 3 week trip to Great Britain. The first 4 nights of the vacation were spent at this Trinity Square flat. Because this was our first trip overseas Paul made us feel very comfortable with all we needed to know about London and gave excellent directions to the flat. He was extremely professional with correspondence and the handling of money/deposit transactions. The flat was very well equipped and clean with a fantastic location near the Tube and the Tower. It was a bit tight with our three children and all of our luggage, but we were not surprised since it was advertised as such. I would recommend this flat to anyone wanting a very convenient and accommodating place to stay in London.

We had a fantastic week-long holiday at Paul's flat. The location is ideal, so close to the Tower and the Tower Hill tube stop. There were only 2 of us so there was plenty of room. Many previous guests have left guidebooks and maps which help in your planning. Make sure you get an "Oyster" card for the tube and bus fares. We plan to go back and stay there again!

I stayed at Paul's flat in May of 2007; it was my very first trip to London, after a long tour in the Middle East. If you are visiting London for the 1st time or 10th and want an authentic English experience, this flat provides that and so much more! Everything posted in Paul's description is spot-on and I've broken down the 2 major categories from my perspective: Location: After 8 trips to London under my hat now, this is STILL the best and most memorable place I have ever stayed at. The Tower Hill Tube is literally next door - invest in an Oyster Card - it is pounds well spent as your balance leftover never expires. The Tower of London is across the street and who can beat a tasty croissant and cup of hot tea from Pret'A Manger right downstairs? Did I mention the pub downstairs too? (Kopparberg's Cider!) Fantastic atmosphere, and there's even a nicely manicured mini park just outside the stoop. I made quite a fool of myself walking barefoot in the grass my first day there. If you head down the street a bit, there is a Starbuck's and Tesco for your caffeine fix and groceries. We were able to cook while we were there, which saved a lot of $! The Flat: I simply did not want to leave. If I ever get the chance, Paul is going to sell me this flat - he just doesn't know it yet! It was the perfect size for myself and friend. The kitchen is more than well equipped with cookware, washer/dryer, etc. and there is also a great selection of music, DVD's and maps/quides that others have left for your use in the living area. (The photos really do not do Paul's flat justice.) The bed was heaven and I spent quite a bit of time sitting in the window at the foot of the bed, just listening to music and the sounds outside, writing in my journal. Not if, but WHEN you stay here - be sure to go upstairs to the rooftop and take in the beautiful view of the Tower Bridge! A hotel will not give you 1/4 of the experience and accomodations as Paul's flat. On a personal note: Paul, I want to thank you for making your flat available for others. It was my first experience in London and came at a time when I needed to relax, reflect and heal. To this day, I still smile when I think of my stay there. I cannot wait for a spot to open up so I can visit again. Cheers!

Staying here was wonderful for our family of 4: Our 2 daughters, ages 14 & 17 especially loved the flat, and oohed and aahed when we walked in! It was like a home away from home for us. There were so many things that were great. The location was ultra convenient, clean, safe and across from Tower of London, a 2 minute walk to the subway, 5 minute walk to a grocery store called Tesco, so we were able to buy groceries and cook in the kitchen which saved lots of money. The flat comes stocked with so many unexpected amenties: books to read, including London guidebooks/maps, videos to watch, phone to make free local calls, umbrellas, washer/dryer, dishes, pots, silverware, etc. Even had spices, olive oil, shampoo, etc. left from previous tenants so we didn't have to run out and buy some of that stuff. Paul, the owner was a joy to work with: Always responded to our queries in a timely manner, easy going, and professional. For the cost, compared to how much London hotels would be for a family of 4, this is an incredible value and we'll definitely be staying here again. Some thoughts for next time: I wish we'd remembered to visit the rooftop garden with the view, because I heard the views were wonderful. Also didn't care much for the pub just around the corner from the flat. (Wetherstones)? The beer was GREAT, but the food was just ok. And for 4 people, the sleeping arrangement works like this: 2 can sleep in the double bed upstairs, 1 sleeps on the sofa, and the 4th person can put the 2 big, comfy chairs together to form a "bed". It was all very comfortable and worked out great!

My husband and I spent 10 days in Paul's flat and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. I can't say enough about the location; it was nice to be in the city, but not right in the middle of more high traffic areas such as Kensington and Piccadilly. The tube stop is literally a block away which is priceless when you're pulling luggage behind you! It was so nice to have the kitchen and washer/dryer; cut down on how much we had to pack and saved a little money on food!! Also, it seems that several guests have left their converters there - check in the kitchen area. Lots of guidebooks left behind for other guests as well as one GREAT city map which I taped back together for subsequent renters!! There is also a nice collection going of travel size toiletries. Paul was wonderful to work with - lots of good advice and very responsive to inquiries. Should I ever find myself going to London again, I know where I'll be staying!!

I loved the location of this flat in the City of London where the contrast between the old and new is so interesting. There is an elevator to the front door of the flat, (no luggage lugging) which is on two levels. The spiral staircase to the sleeping area was easy to negotiate, the bed very comfortable with nice sheets, and the bathroom had a good shower. The kitchen was well-equipped which was important to me as I eat in a lot. Comfy couches make for good naps after a day of sightseeing. The tube was nearby and buses to the South Bank were great as I go to the National theater frequently. I visit London often, and this was one of the most pleasant visits. Also, you can get the boat to Greenwich nearby at the Tower, and many of the London Walks start in nearby locations. There is a Marks and Spencers nearby as well as other shops. While there are many office workers around during the day, it is splendidly quiet at night and on the weekends. I hope others enjoy their stay as much as I did.

My wife, 9-year old, and I stayed at Paul's flat for 3 nights. The price was comparable to what one would pay at a very nice hotel. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location is superb - 2 minutes to a tube stop and right near the Thames. The view from the roof was incredible. No complaints at all.

What a find! We needed a place in London for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. This flat worked out great and the price was even better. Not too toght for a family. (It would be romantic for a couple!). Beautiful and well-fitted apartment and a really nice location: close to tube (subway) so all of London was easily ours. A safe neighborhood filled with history, good food (including asuper market and casual pizza) and friendly locals. Our "landlord" Paul provided a warm welcome, professional money transaction and suggestions on local highlights. Check out the roof! This is a real find and I hope to be able to use it again.

We spent 3 weeks using Paul's flat as a base for our travels. My 3 kids (17 - 23 yrs) were enthralled with the flat and the location. How wonderful to be next door to the Tower and Tower Bridge! Great restaurants and pubs on the same street, and the Tower Hill tube stop 1 block away. It was a bit crowded for 4 people but very comfortable, and Paul was more than helpful. I would definitely recommend it.

We just returned from a 5 day stay in London at this flat, capping off a 3 week vacation in Europe, where we visited 8 countries. The flat was a perfect place to end our travels, as we had a great level of comfort and ease there, with everything we needed to feed ourselves, wash our clothes, etc., which very welcome after lots of restaurant meals, etc. The flat is in a great location right next to Tower of London, so much you wan walk to, right next to the tube station, and has every convenience without being "flashy". We were family of 4, and the 2 kids (pre-teen) were able to sleep downstairs on the sofa and chairs made into a bed, while we slept upstairs in the loft bedroom very comfortably and with some privacy. The owner was very accomodating, and there were many comfortable touches provided which made morning coffee, etc., easy & enjoyable. Though it is not a large psace, it was perfect for our needs, and I give it high marks (especially for Americans who might have some concern about things like showers, etc; this flat is owned by an American and is equipped in ways we are comfortable with!)

It was absolutely breathtaking to step out of the Tower tube station upon arriving in London, and there before us, the Tower of London and Tower bridge. It was equally as wonderful to discover that Paul's flat is just across the street at Trinity Square. What a privileged location! The apartment is an excellent find. It is affordable in a city that is phenomenally expensive. It is clean, modern, comfortable and has all the amenities one could possibly need. Because of its location, essentially, a financial district, the area was ours and quiet at night. There is a market just up the street and the convenience of the Tower tube station practically at one's doorstep is terrific. Paul is extremely helpful, available and hospitable. We are very grateful to him for making London easy to explore and comfortable (and possible!) to stay. This is a five star flat, not only because it is very nice, and in a lovely building but did we tell you about the Tower of London across the street? Two thumbs up for Paul's Place at Trinity Square. We highly recommend it. Lycette & Ken Knott August 2006

We spent a week at Trinity Square and we had the greatest time.We were 3 adults and it was big enough not to step on each others toe. The appartment is perfect:clean, functional, very well furnished and easy to reach. The tube is a minute away. The neighbourhood is quite fancy and very secure. The owner is very nice and welcomes you with great attention. We highly recommend this flat!
