Our lodge, privately situated on more than 2 acres, is custom-built with a huge wrap-around porch. Inside the walls are classic knotty pine with a 30' cathedral ceiling and unique hardwood maple floors (carpets in the bedrooms) . The first floor is mostly open: a custom-designed kitchen (and a big country dining table) opens into the cozy living room with a rustic fireplace.

Located on the northeastern part of Kezar Lake, we belong to the exclusive Westways Association (featured in CABIN LIFE Magazine April 2007) which includes approximately one-hundred acres, 1/3 mile shared lakefront, as well as 5 docks, a sandy beach (with adirondack chairs) , softball field, hiking trails, clay tennis court, a rec hall (with a fieldstone fireplace, pool table, ping-pong, a working vintage 2-lane bowling alley circa 1915). A classic Maine retreat!

Our secluded house is about a 7-minute walk down a charming private dirt road to the lake and these amenities. The view from the lakefront is spectacular as Westways faces the foothills of the White Mountains. And as all the other listings note... National Geographic once cited Kezar Lake one of the most beautiful lakes in the world.

                  About the owner: My family has owned summer homes on Kezar Lake for generations. My husband and I bought property in 2002 and built an original Kiesman lodge in 2005. I am an award-winning middle grade novelist and my husband is owner and president of Wireless Analytics, Inc. We have two young adult children.
