  Vista Ballena is unlike any other home located in Cabo Del Sol. The villa is located in a gated community right on the 17th green of the Cabo del Sol Ocean course. Upon arrival you will be greeted by the on site staff, Sergio and Edith, who are incredibly kind, helpful, and the most amazing cooks! In addition to the villa’s exquisite architectural beauty, infinity pool, swim up bar, billiards room, and sprawling terrace, you will enjoy endless activities throughout the property. We have stayed at Vista Ballena many times and each trip is better than the last. Thank you for another relaxing vacation filled with endless whale watching, poolside games, golf, and excellent meals!

  Best Place in Cabo!! I have been to Cabo many times over the past decade and have never stayed at a place this incredible. It combines old world charm with all the amenities of a 5 star resort. The location can't be beat, it's right on the water between the 17th Green and 18th Tee of the Cabo del Sol Ocean course(the most pictured hole in all of Cabo). You are steps away from the beach or the 1st tee, but your toughest choice will be if you even want to leave the premises. This place has it all, billiards room, infinity pool, huge pool lounging area, palapa swim up bar, putting green, movie room, ping pong, hot tub, art gallery, whale watching views and the list goes on... There are also 2 full time care takers that cook delicious meals and take care of the little things so you can leave all your worries at home. Don't forget the use of their 2 cars too so you don't have to hassle with a rental. This is truly the best place is Cabo! Thanks Vista Ballena

  As a lifelong resident of the Bay Area, I spent many years traveling to Hawaii for our family vacations. We would stay at hotels and rent villas when available. About 6 years ago some friends introduced us to Cabo San Lucas and we do not plan on returning to Hawaii anytime soon. Every year we discover more and more of what this part of Baja has to offer and we look forward to coming back. We also discovered Villa Vista Ballena. From the full service concierge services to Sergio and Edith - the live in staff/ chefs and now friends, this Villa is spectacular. You can immediately tell this is not a spec home. The details, decorations and high end finishes are perfect for the setting and worthy of all the press. From the photos alone, you can tell this Villa has everything. Just wait until you arrive and this Villa and setting (270 degree unobstructed ocean and golf course views) will surpass all expectations - by a mile. There are too many activities to list for kids and adults both right outside the front door and within a 10 minute drive. My family loves to golf and we enjoy staying on and playing what is arguably the best course in Mexico. We will return soon!!

I would add that Cabo has better weather than Hawaii (no rain and less wind) and is more accessible from almost any location in North America and Europe. These are the reasons we fell in love with Cabo twelve years ago and it is even better today than it was then. This is also why we decided to build an exceptional vacation home on what we think is the best site in the entire region. With ten years of nothing but great experiences by our family and by our visiting guests, Villa Vista Ballena provides a fabulous home away from home.

  Our family and friends have visited Villa Vista Ballena twice and we cant wait to come again. This is the best house with the best location and the best caretaker couple (Sergio and Edith) anywhere, not just in Cabo.

Additional information about rental rates

Final details of each rental will be confirmed by the owner promptly upon request. Our concierge will also discuss any arrangements that you may wish made during your stay. Reservations for restaurants, activities, parties/entertainment at the villa, etc can all be made for you at no cost.

Deposit of 20% to hold the reservation within 15 days of reservation confirmation. The balance to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. Deposit to cover food, beverage and incidentals to be determined and paid 10 days in advance. Any unspent amounts will be refunded within 10 days of departure. Any costs to repair damage will be billed within 10 days of departure.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

The resident caretaker couple should receive a tip for their incredible services. We recommend $100 per night.
