Downtown Apalach Above the Dixie Theatre! Walk to Restaurants
- Minimum stay:2 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Experience downtown Apalachicola and the beautiful Apalachicola River from your windows or walk out the door and step into the shops, art galleries and restaurants of this quaint historic fishing village.
Take a estuary tour or spend the day fishing with one of the experienced guides either on the Apalachicola River or in the beautiful gulf waters. Bike ride, beachcomb, take in a play at the Historic Dixie Theatre or just relax.
Don't miss any of the great events in Apalach. Plein Air Artists, Art Walk and Wine Festival, Antique Boat Show and the list goes on....
One thing you must keep in mind is that this suite is above The Dixie Theatre so most performances can be heard in the suite. The Dixie professional season runs from January to March, however the local Panhandle Players may use the theatre from time to time. Most performances are weekends only and completed by 9:30 pm. Sunday matinees are 3:00pm to 5:30pm. We try to remind everyone of our performances however we are human and may forget on occassion.

We had a very nice time staying here. The place was very clean and had a charming decorating theme. It also had extra touches that made it very comfortable. It was very easy to work with the owner.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I spent 3 nights in this wonderful apartment. It is fantastically clean, quite spacious, decorated so tastefully, a great mix of old and new. I'll be coming back in the summer! It is right downtown so you are close to everything. The owners were beyond helpful. It is on the second floor so there are stairs but they are well lit, private with a landing part way up. I would highly recommend this property. Thanks so much.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
