Here you can swim from the dock over a sandy bottom, walk the natural shoreline or use the row boat. Beautiful Southwest views allow for all day sun and peaceful sunsets. A small bunkhouse, with sleeping for two on separate single beds, is 75 feet from the main house. The knotty pine paneling and wood burning fireplace inside, add to the warm camp feel of this property. If you're really looking to get away, this is the most secluded water front cottage on the lake with a great place for the kids to have their own room. A new charcoal grill just for you; and for a touch of the outside.

WOW was all I could say from the first moment we arrived. The owner's met us and we had a marvelous time getting to know them. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by giving away how great a vacation this was because frankly I don't want anyone else to find it. The seclusion and comfortable atmosphere were just what we needed to get away from the frantic lifestyle we have in Connecticut. The lake is clean and beautiful, the cottage comfortable and the rustic atmosphere truly made me feel like I didn't need to worry about a thing. The simple amenities were perfect. And it's secluded so that a late evening skinny dip was a comfortable event. And the LOONS!! were amazing. If you've never heard loons calling this is the place to experience it. PS Our dogs loved it too. So great to find a safe, secluded spot where the dogs could enjoy being off lease, but under control. Thanks to Alice & Llyn for a Great and Marvelous time. Can't wait to get back.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
