This is not your typical ski cabin / summer rental. This is an upscale, luxury rental in a house that was recently remodeled in 2011 with top-of-the-line appliances, a chef's kitchen and brand new furnishings in every room.
This is a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 ½ bath two story house (2500+ dq ft) with a hot tub. Sleeps 10-12 people, and is perfect for 2 families. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for your vacation.
The main living area has an open floor plan with pine-wrapped ceilings and a fireplace. The kitchen is completely remodeled with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, new cabinets, and all amenities, including microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, dishwasher, and all cooking items and utensils you will need. The dining room table accommodates 8 people, and there are 4 barstools at the countertop. We have two separate family rooms, one upstairs and the other downstairs, which is perfect for families with kids. The kids bunk room is also a great place for the kids to hang out downstairs.
The 4 bedrooms include: 1 King (with additional sleeping area for 2 kids) in Master Suite; 2 Queen bedrooms; and 1 kids bedroom with 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds), so 10-12 can sleep comfortably. The kids room also has books and games. We supply bed linens, towels and blankets, and have a washer and dryer in the laundry room. We have high-speed Internet, telephone, Apple TV, Xbox Kinect, Wii, and 2 big, flat-screen HDTVs with cable and HBO.
We are located in the Tahoe-Donner community, which has two swimming pool areas, a gym and workout facility, cross country skiing, and downhill skiing. Downtown Truckee is minutes away, and we are 15 to 30 minutes to Squaw, Alpine, Northstar, Sugar Bowl and Borreal ski resorts.
In the summer, you can enjoy the golf course, tennis courts and equestrian center, plus a private beach on Donner Lake. The house comes with guest passes that allow you to use the amenities for a charge of $8 per person each day. There is a big back yard with a small creek. In the summer, you can relax on one of the two decks surrounded by pines. There are also hundreds of hiking and biking trails just minutes away, and great restaurants.
We are conveniently located at the Donner Pass Road exit off Highway 80 in the Tahoe Donner community. The garage fits 2 cars and several more can park in the flat driveway.

This is a terrific place. Spacious, clean, bright, modern and right in the heart of Tahoe Donner. Everything worked perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 summer night stay. Lovely flat lot for the grand-kids to run around on. I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
