El Encanto villa description
This is truly a place you can kick back, put your feet up and enjoy a margarita or four. We have designed and decorated our El Encanto penthouse residence to have the comfort and elegance of the Punta Mita Four Seasons. In fact, we own several units in the Four Seasons Residence Club and also rent them out. They are quite popular and rent for much more than our El Encanto residence which is a bit of a mystery as we genuinely prefer staying at El Encanto to the Four Seasons. And, this is especially now the case as we and our rental guests have access to all the amenities of the fabulous and very luxurious St. Regis Beach Club just down the road. This is a very good deal! For a reasonable per person daily price you get full use of the resort's very stunning Beach Club and its ocean front activities. And, the per person cost is immediately refunded to you by means of a credit you can use in the beach club's restaurants and bars. The St. Regis in Punta Mita is genuinely one of the world's most spectacular resorts.
In addition to the St. Regis Resort, our guests also have full use of the private owners' club at Punta Mita. This allows you to use the resort's two world class Jack Nicklaus golf courses, the twelve tennis courts and the owners' private beach club and restaurant. Our favorite place to eat in Punta Mita is at the owners' beach club! Also, the rates you pay as our guest are even somewhat reduced from the regular rates others (people staying at the Four Seasons or St. Regis resorts for instance) are paying.
We think the greatest feature of our El Encanto penthouse residence are the wonderful 360 degree views it has. Here you get views of the Pacific Ocean, both golf courses and the Sierra Madre Mountains. In the morning you get spectacular sunrises as the sun climbs over the mountains across the bay (to view a VIDEO OF THE SUNRISE from our balcony click video button at top of listing) and in the evening cocktail perfect sunsets are enjoyed off the master bedroom terrace and the front porch. In fact, last month, we just renovated our front entry way terrance and turned it into a Sunset Margarita Bar complete with bar stools and appropriate decorating. It is kind of cool. And, if you are into whales they are easily watchable off of our residence's many terraces during the winter months. While we are not totally unbiased, we truly believe our residence has the best views in all of Punta Mita.
The master bedroom has a large private wrap around terrace. The master suite also has a king size bed with a to-die-for mattress that we sourced from the same place the Four Seasons procures their mattresses. A large flat screen HD TV is in the master bedroom. A separate dressing room and large bath with separate tub and shower complete the master suite. The other two bedrooms feature a queen size bed and two double beds, respectively.
The living rooms features a large flat screen HD TV with a surround sound home theater set up. We have also installed Apple TV so you can access a raft of shows and movies from it, Netfilx, Hulu and other media sources. The living room and dining room areas also have sliding glass doors that when open create a very airy, bright and spacious feel to the residence. We have almost 4000 square feet of indoor/outdoor living area and it is designed to bring all of the outdoors right inside the unit.
We also own and rent properties in Kiawah Island, SC and Scottsdale, AZ which are also quite nice places. But, neither compares to the beauty, the friendliness and fun of Punta Mita and all it has to offer.
Keywords: Best views (in our opinion) in all of Punta Mita. Click on the video link immediately to the left to view a time lapse video of sunrise from one of our terraces. Every morning is like this. Close and unobstructed views of ocean and Jack Nicklaus golf courses. Plunge pool on terrace. Flat screen HD TVs, surround sound audio system, fully equipped kitchen, elegantly decorated in Four Seasons style and comfort, full use privileges at both Punta Mita private club and St. Regis Resort's Beach Club. Magnificent sunrise views from living room and back terrace. Sunset views from Master bedroom and terrace. New sunset margarita bar. Four Season resort nearby. Whale watching daily during winter months. Twelve great tennis courts. We love this place!

- Rental at El Encanto also provides full use of the facilities of the private Punta Mita Club as our guests. As such, you have full access to the two Jack Nickalus golf courses, wonderful tennis facility and beach clubs. Our favorite place to eat is at the Resident's Private Beach Club! You can use the golf and tennis facilities at our guest rate which is below that of the resort rates offered at the Four Seasons or St. Regis hotels. Also, when staying at our El Encanto residence you have full use of the amenities at the ultra luxury St. Regis Beach Clu just down the road. We like the St. Regis even better than the Four Seasons! The St. Regis deal is that for $30/day/adult and $20/day/child you get full use of the facilities. This cost is then credited back to you in the form of a credit to be used at the beach club's restaurants and bars....moreless

A few years ago my wife and I decided we liked staying in VRBO rentals far more than hotels, when chosen wisely of course, for vacationing and this property tops the list. A friend of ours mentioned it to us and the pictures do not do it justice. The beautiful blend of privacy, magnificent views, luxurious accommodations, and top notch service are off the charts at this price point. Giovanni, your concierge when visiting, was our best friend on the trip. Seriously, this guy takes great care of you and hooks you up with whatever you are looking for. I left wanting to hire someone like this to take care of me at home. He booked our 90 minute massages which were delivered on the terrace of the condo. It was the best massage I have ever had and a much better price than the resorts. He also booked our cook we hired for two days, Karla. Read more on her below. Not to mention he had the kitchen stocked for us when we arrived and even had made some guacamole, pico, and margaritas for us so we could indulge the minute we walked in the door. He really left us wanting for nothing. For fun in the sun we didn't do much outside of a daily paddleboarding adventure in the bay, but the golf course looked amazing and we heard the activities at the resorts are a lot of fun. The property was great for my daily run. On our five day trip we spent mornings eating breakfast at one of the following: Four Seasons, St. Regis, and The owner's beach club. All delicious with incredible views. While the owner's beach club was certainly the best value don't miss the drunken pork sandwich at The Four Season's. It is to die for. If you speak Mexican food this is their version of a torta ahogada. We skipped lunch three of the days because we ate such a large breakfast. For dinner we hit up Si Senor in town and the beach front restaurant at the St. Regis for a BBQ on the beach. Both good and a great atmosphere. The kicker though is we hired Karla to cook lunch and dinner for us for our last two days there and I wish we would have hired her for the entire stay. For $80/day not including groceries she will cook you the best meals you will have when visiting Punta Mita. They were fresh, healthy, and delicious and all you have to do is get up out of your poolside lounger to enjoy. There is so much more I could say but in a nutshell I can't recommend this place enough. Brian is the best host you could want for a relaxing vacation.

Amazing Views to start with and that is just the beginning!

So you think the pictures and description of this place look amazing, well guess again! Just walk into this place! This was a family trip for 6 adults and the house easily accommodates that. Age range was between 30 and 70 and there is something for everyone. From the beach clubs to golfing to tennis and to nearby surfing and everything else the PV area has to offer. Brian and family have done a fantastic job with this place and he is a very accommodating host, patiently answering all my question and putting me in touch with Giovanni who does everything short of make a rabbit appear out of a hat. Any request you may have while down there, Giovanni will go out of his way to provide. The house has tremendous views, is well maintained and has a full kitchen for preparing a 5 course meal if that is wanted. Location is perfect, within a mile or two of 3 beach clubs and the La Anclote surf break. It was breaking while we were there and it is a great long board break. If you want to go bigger, La Lancha and Burros are within a 10 minute drive. Food goes from super nice at Four Seasons and St Regis to grabbing some local flavor in Punta Mita. Sayulita is a short 20 minute drive away and the heart of PV is about 45 minutes but once you get here, you don't want to leave. I highly recommend this property!!

What an amazing place!!! We recently travelled to Punta Mita for the first time with 2 other couples and we had a blast. Leading up to our trip Brian was very helpful and easy to deal with. The condo easily accommodated the six of us and was designed perfectly. It is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Giovanni was also amazing. The golf was great, the massages awesome and the food terrific. We loved it so much that we are going back in the fall and staying in this condo. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

5 of us recently stayed in this apartment and had a wonderful vacation. Upon arrival Giovanni met us with Margaritas, guacamole and salsa plus some goodies in the refrigerator and a tour of the condo. Brian and his wife have decorated the place superbly with designer furniture and artwork. The bathrooms are beautifully tiled and the views are wonderful from every room. We stayed in the 'low season' but apart from 2 afternoon thunderstorms we were thrilled to have an uncrowded golf course and beaches/pools. We hired a golf cart and a car which I would recommend. The St Regis is stunning as is the Four Seasons. Sufi's restaurant nearby and local restaurants are of a high standard as is the beach club dining. The cocktail reception at the St Regis is a lot of fun also on Friday night. My son tried paddle boarding and my husband kayaked, we played golf, too hot for tennis, we used the gym and grilled on the terrace many nights. El Encanto is right next door to the golf club house and the St Regis so don't bother renting anywhere closer to the Four Seasons, this is just the right location. A perfect vacation! Thanks to Brian and Giovanni for making everything so comfortable and easy for us.

Top of the destination list!

This was the first time my wife and I had traveled to Punta Mita (and the first time we used VRBO) and wow, were we impressed! We had originally contacted the owner about another property, but that one was unavailable so he suggested the El Encanto property. We arrived to find one of the most gorgeous places we had ever stayed in. The condo is as expansive as the views and can easily fit 6+people. It is tastefully decorated and has an enormous kitchen with all of the amenities. The balconies are huge and we spent every afternoon in the infinity pool, sipping coronas. The place includes access to the St. Regis beach club and the Resident's beach club. Try both, they are both beautiful, but we loved the Resident's beach club. The massages with Claudia were incredible. We rented a golf cart and had a driver from the airport (highly recommend). This is one of the nicest condos in Punta Mita and the views are even more incredible than the pictures. If you stay here, you WILL NOT regret it. We are already planning our return trip! Thank you, thank you to the owner!

Our family had the most fabulous time in Punta Mita! This was our first time staying in unit 103 and I can't say enough about it! From the moment we walked through the front door we were amazed! The view is absolutley breathtaking! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures themselves. The welcome staff was superb and so helpful and on top of everything. They took care of every request we could possibly have. The chef they had reccommended our first night was absolutley amazing! The decor in the house was beautiful and comforable. The property was impeccable and well maintained at all times. I would highly recommend Punta Mita for all people. There is something to do for everyone! The restaurants are fantastic as well! I especially recommend "Sufi's".And if you love golf this is the place to be. Our family cannot wait to come back and make many more memories in the years to come.

Four friends from Seattle and San Francisco

We escaped for a Mom's week in Mexico and were so fortunate to find this amazing property. From the stunning ocean views from every room, to the extra comfy beds with down pillows and an amazing TV with about 100 US channels we spent a relaxing week in paradise, BBQ-ing on our deck, playing tennis, relaxing in the infinity pool and enjoying the gorgeous beaches. The owner connected us with his property manager who arranged our airport pick up, stocked the house with groceries, greeted us with margaritas in hand and reserved our golf cart (a must to experience the multiple beaches, restaurants and darling sea-side town in Punta Mita). The owners were so helpful in planning our days it made the trip effortless. The condo was stocked with every imaginable kitchen item and was top-quality, we felt very spoiled. We looked at other units but being on the top floor (only 3 floors) provided breath taking sunsets and endless photos. Can't thank the owners enough for a great trip and we hope to come back soon.

About: We are a family of five with three daughters that are now all living on their own (Manhattan, Brooklyn and Philadelphia). It is becoming increasingly difficult to get all of us together for any extended lengths of time but everyone seems to have time to visit Punta Mita (especially when dad is footing the bill!) We love playing golf and tennis which is what attracted us to Punta Mita in the first place. We also enjoy eating out and a cocktail or two from time to time. There are no shortages for either in Punta Mita. We only get to Punta Mita about three times a year as I am still working and also enjoy visiting our other properties in Kiawah Island and Scottsdale. But, we plan on wintering in Punta Mita once I retire.
Why El Encanto:
Up until seven years ago we used to go to Hawaii at least once during the winter. Since we discovered Punta Mita we have not set foot back in the 50th state. We find the people of Mexico to be friendlier, the prices more reasonable, the weather more reliable (a lot less rain), the food more fun and enjoyable and whole vibe more relaxed and less pretentious. And, as we live in Chicago, Punta Mita is a mere non-stop, four hour flight away that is in the same time zone. We didn’t realize how much easier it is to get to Punta Mita than Hawaii which is six time zones and a few connecting flights away. And, we never have to take a red eye fight home! Hawaii is great mind you, it is just that Punta Mita is so much better.
