The unit faces the ocean full on and Sugar Beach, the longest and whitest beach on Maui. That's what you see when you walk in the front door. That's the view from the living room and the bedroom. Beach Front and Accessible to Wailea and Laihaina for dining, shopping.Golf is every where. Maalea is just minutes away for all the water sports you could want. We offer a "Concierge" service that only recommends and makes connections with the best of Maui.
At certain times of the year Dolphins swim right past the Lanai and occassionally the whales can be seen as well. This property is like having your own beach front retreat...Everyone is friendly and there are quite a few permanent residents that will make you feel right at home.

Year Purchased: 1995
Owners Frank and Cameron DeAngelo live in Las Vegas Nevada They purchased the Condo after staying at the Kealia for the very first time. They stripped the entire unit down to the studs and rebuilt with new updated materials. They prefer to visit this little retreat at least twice a year but found that they are currently working more and playing less... which makes this adorable hide away available for family and friends. Mahalo for choosing this as your Island get-away destination!!
Why the Owner Chose Kealia Resort
We stayed at Kealia Resort and we liked it so much we decided to purchase a unit and stay.
It was a great decision and we enjoy it more every time we come home to Maui. The walks on Sugar sand beach that goes forever are awesome every morning.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
One of the most important things is the people that live in the building all year around are all so very friendly that you feel like part of the family. The manager Norma Jean and the office manager Sherry are wonderful people. We love the fact that we can walk on the beach in one particular direction for an hour and a half up and back and see maybe 10 people. The location is also convenient and minutes to Wailea which we call the Beverly Hills of Maui. There are a lot of great restaurants and all the sea sports are just around the corner in Maalea. If you want to go to Lahaina it's 17 miles. The Concierge service we use and recommend, provides first class service and we get nothing but commpliments from our guests. Also we are only 8 miles from the airport and Kahalui if we need to shop. We love it and so will you.

Stayed 10 nights in July and the condo was wonderful! Beautifully manicured grounds, nice pool, and very quiet and peaceful setting. Great views from the deck and also lots of places to relax, read or watch the scenery throughout the pool area and grounds. The beach is only a few steps away for beach walks. Staff at the condo was helpful and friendly. We've stayed on Maui 3 times and this was my favorite location of our 3 trips. The condo is located at the north tip of Kihei which is a great central location. There is a Safeway and other markets within 2 or 3 miles of the condo. The Kahului airport, Costco, and WalMart are about 15 minutes away. During our trip we most enjoyed the Maui Ocean Center aquarium, a "Trilogy" Molokini snorkeling trip, lots of snorkeling off local beaches where we saw many fish and turtles, and Iao Valley State Park. If you are trying to plan activities, from the condo it is about 5 minutes south to central Kihei (shopping, restaurants & boogie boarding at Kamaole Beach Park III), about 10 minutes to the public beaches and Luaus in the Wailea area (Wailea and Ulua beaches are great and we swam with turtles near the reefs at either end of Wailea, also fun to walk along the miles-long paved beach path in front of the Wailea area resorts, look for signs that indicate public beach access/parking in several locations.) About 5 minutes north of the condo to Ma'alaea harbor (great Maui Ocean Center Aquarium - get there at lunch when they feed the sharks and rays in the big tank. Ma'alaea is also where many of the snorkeling, Molokini, Lanai and sunset cruises take off from) about 30 minutes north to Lahaina (shopping, restaurants and more cruise ships) and 35 minutes north to Ka’anapali and Whaler's Village (Shopping, beaches, and Luaus. Fun to walk along the miles-long paved beach path in front of the Ka’anapali area resorts. Ka’anapali beach is very popular - good snorkeling at north end near the big black rock outcropping, look for signs that indicate public beach access/parking in several locations.) Great trip, great location, looking forward to a return trip

Thank you Frank & Cameron for a most lovely week in the "Island of the Sun". We We came here for our Niece's wedding which was on the beach south of here. Absolutely a wonderful week of activities but it was great coming back to our "home" here in Kihei. Everything here was very useful and helped us on our daily excursions.
