  After having lived in Angel Fire for six years and moving back home to Louisiana, my wife and I were so fortunate to have found this home away from home while visiting old friends in town. We love the central location and the views are spectacular. This home includes everything we need for a comfortable and lengthy stay and makes us feel like we are in our own home. We’ve stayed in this home during both summer and winter seasons. Winter views of and proximity to the ski mountain are fantastic. The large deck provides lots of room to relax in the mountain sunshine during summer and winter. The owner is extremely gracious and accommodating. We know the homes and condos in Angel Fire very well. Brown Bear Home is by far the closest we come to being at home for our frequent visits to our old home town.

  My family and I just came back from our first ever ski trip to Angel Fire first of Feb, 2013 . We shared this home with another family (6 total) and all agreed the home was perfect and provided everything we needed to make our stay warm and comfortable. Pictures on VRBO DO NOT DO JUSTICE for the VIEWS!! of the mountains, and the ski Area from this home. Views were AWESOME and can be enjoyed from the comfort of the sofa or on the HUGE patio wrapping the home! The home was well maintained and very clean. The kitchen had everything one would need to prepare meals after a long day of skiing. The Angel Fire resort and shops the Grocery store were literally down the street . The large entertaining room was perfect to provide both children and adult a place to hangout. I cannot say enough about this house! We would definitely recommend this home to our family and friends, but more importantly, we will definitely rent this home again when traveling back to Angel Fire.   From the time we arrived, till the time we left, we breathed better and enjoyed every, single minute of our stay! Brownbearhome has thought of everything to make their guests feel "at home" yet comfortable. Our children loved playing in the snow right outside and we even had Elk come right up to the deck to munch on hidden grass in the snow! The mornings were amazing and we found ourselves getting up early just to watch the sun "pop" up over the mountain! The nights were so beautiful with an almost blue white color to the snow from the full moon...we played games, slept late, cooked great meals and got to know each other again! We sat out on the deck and watched the village come to life each morning and watched people skiing down the slopes! We had a snowfall the last night we were there and loved it! We made snow ice cream and went sledding right outside! GREAT times! Good memories!
