Stroll to the beach on the private boardwalk which meanders through this amazing community. Beach side you will find a playground as well as outdoor pool and restrooms, with plentiful parking if you wish to drive to the beach. Please note that in season, Four Seasons has a free trolly running every 15 minutes that will take you into town or the beach until 8 pm every day.
Also, you may simply relax by your own private pool with hot tub.
The community also provides walking access to town or to the sound side for kayaking and wind surfing via a private dock and pier. There is also an new Town Park. In season the park offers many free activties, like yoga, and pilates in the morning. There are also scheduled events for the kids, a playground and a beautiful nature walk on the new sounside pier and dock, where you can enjoy the famous sunsets, or launch a kayak. Year Purchased: 2007
We live in Pennsylvania and love getting to Duck as often as possible. We are busy parents who run a business, so down time is very important to us, and we find no better place to relax than Duck, with the beautiful natural surroundings and abundance of outdoor activity. That is the Currituck sound at sunset right behind us.
Why the Owner Chose Duck
We purchased this home because it is only a 7 hour very easy drive from our home near Philadelphia, yet we feel a million miles away from our hectic life. It is very easy to relax and "let go" here. We always feel healthier in body, mind, and spirit when we (regretfully) leave, looking forward to the next time we can come back.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We love walking to the beach to watch the dolphins in the mornings, spending the day strolling to the shops, or soaking up sun and fresh air on the beach. To wind down the day we enjoy glass of wine on the deck or watch the sun set spectacularly over the sound. The location is fantastic because it is 8 minutes walk to town or the beach, so when we go as a large group, no one has to compromise because you don't need to dive anywhere to do lots of great stuff.

IT IS SPACIOUS, YET COZY, SO IT IS EASY TO FEEL INSTANTLY "AT HOME". IT'S VERY CLEAN, TASTEFULLY DECORATED,WELL STOCKED AND IS LOCATED IN THE PREMIER NEIGHBORHOOD IN DUCK.
