  If you don't want to drive anywhere during your trip, this is the place. Part of the street is closed for some outstanding sledding within walking distance, walking distance to a private beach, a little longer walk to Starbucks, Safeway, Subway, and other small eateries. Rental has a DVD player and RedBox is located inside the Safeway. Very secluded and quiet at all hours. Looks like a Bikeway is being put in right outside the neighborhood by local government to extend to the stateline sometime in 2013, we will be back for that!

  Great in every way! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home. Home was clean and well furnished. Great view of lake, especially from upstairs balcony.The private beach was great...we spent part of every day there. We also took in many of the other sites and attractions of the area. Very convenient to groceries and everything else. We will definitely be back, and recommend to others. P.S. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with...We did all the arrangements by email...no problems, and deposit was promptly returned.

  We had a wonderful stay ,the description of the property met all of our expectations The house was very clean a beautiful location and very quiet the view of the lake was exceptional We enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the beautifully landscaped deck area . In the morning we sat out on the deck listening to the sounds of the lake lapping on the shore . I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful spot at Lake Tahoe the private community beach is delightful a bar b que,volleyball and a sandy beach that is breathtaking. A real gem

  Views of the lake, short and pleasant walk to the beach, close to the grocery, comfy beds, all add up to a great home base for your family's Tahoe vacation. We especially liked the back deck, which was quiet and peaceful. I have rented other homes in the Marla Bay area up the road, and they had traffic noise from Hwy 50 that made it hard to enjoy the outdoor spaces. That problem does not exist in the Elk Point neighborhood. We'll be back!

  This cabin is great. It is clean, well furnished, nicely decorated, and located in a private gated community with a private community beach. Our family of 6 fit perfectly. We really enjoyed the comforts of this vacation home and made life long memories. The back patio is excellent for barbeque and relaxation. We would come again.

  A perfect property for us as we have 2 young children. From the house you can get on your bike and follow one of the best bike trails in Tahoe! Or walk to the private beach. No crowds, very comfortable. Close to everything yet private! Can't wait to go back and explore more. Peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful. Oh, there is a bald eagle that lives near by!

  This place is fabulous! The location couldn't be better--right across the street from the lake, a 2 minute walk to the path that leads to the private sandy beach, and a 5 minute drive to state line and the wonderful restaurants and casinos. The beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or launching a kayak. This house is beautiful! I especially love the upstairs bedroom with the gorgeous view of the lake--what a pleasure to wake up and see the early morning light over the water. Since the home is fairly new, it has every amenity imaginable as well as being very spacious and yet has a very cozy atmosphere. It also has a very private backyard which is perfect for that peaceful breakfast while reclining in one of the rocking chairs or for bar-be-quing in the evening. I also enjoyed sitting on the front deck in the evening to watch the sunset over the lake. This is the perfect get-away--an awesome and tranquil setting, just minutes away from numerous available activities. I will definitely return.

  I have been a guest at this beautiful home many times over the years with the most recent in August, 2011. I have always found it in immaculate condition, and that's a biggie for me. I always enjoy a late afternoon snack on either of two spacious lake view decks, and my morning coffee on the private, sunny patio in the back. Early afternoons usually find me relaxing with a good book on the private beach. I always feel secure when I visit because this home is located within a gated residential area. Also, I prefer kicking back when I visit, but casinos and shopping are only short drive. I plan to spend spend a few restful days this coming summer in Lake Tahoe, and hope I will be able to be stay in Elk Point. The only complaint I have is that I find it so darn hard to leave.
