A week's stay at the Cottage on the Shore on Deer Isle Maine proved to be a most pleasantly excellent experiences we have had on the island of Deer Isle over the last ten years. The cottage, which we referred to as the "mansion", is expansive, airy, full of natural outdoor light, and exceptionally comfortable. It has state of the art facilities-kitchen, baths, laundry room, fully equipped with high tech appliances. All eight of our guests had a difficult time departing from the cottage and vowed that they would return for another stay. It's an experience that everyone and anyone would fully enjoy.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
