    Excellent location and very nice, big house. I could not have picked better choice! 1 minute walk to almost private beach is very convenient. If I come back to Virginia Beach, I would definitely come back to this house.

    Just wanted to say what a great time we all had. We loved how relaxing Sandbridge area is. The house is roomy enough to accommodate many people yet has areas that were secluded from everyone for those who enjoy reading versus watching tv. We had 4 generations enjoying each other's company. Nothing like watching the grandchildren playing card games with the grandparents. Beautiful house that is nicely decorated. Thanks again for opening up your house to others.

    Many fun nights in the "great room" watching the 2012 Olympics, playing games or working on puzzles and we loved the big dining room table. The weather was very good, great beach and never crowded. Thank you for making this a vacation with many memories for our family!!

    The owners were so intent on profit that they lost a family that was looking for renting for many years. The house was just as we invisanged. The size was great for 6 adults and 2 little ones. The pictures painted a great house. The refrig was not working well, the air conditioning never reached the master bedroom,, the little ants required us bleaching all counters and using paper instead of dishes provided.. I purchased new frying pans as the ones provided were not good. The screened porch was great. We were admonished by owners that we didn't tell them what was wrong. THEY KNEW!!!! Also the comment from the owner that we probably were from Long Island although some MD. and North Carolina plates were visible was unconscionable.Upon arrival, I had to wash the shower curtains as they were full of mold. Not good. Perhaps, realtors make sure all of this is taken care of. These people did not even use professional cleaners although we were charged for cleaning. We will try to visit Sandbridge again but will be much more vigilant. We have always been trusting people. How sad that we must be so careful now.! Property needed a GOOD CLEANING!!!!!

    Owner response: We regret that this guest was not completely satisfied with her stay at Sea-Esta, as we take great pride in our house and try to make sure that the house is in tip top shape for our summer guests during their stay at Sandbridge.   On this guest's check-in day, we came to the house within an hour of receiving a Saturday night phone call regarding the refrigerator being warm.  We inspected the refrigerator, and although we believed it to be working properly, informed the guest we would have an appliance repairman service the refrigerator, or if necessary, have a new refrigerator delivered the next morning. We called the guest early the next morning and the husband informed us that the refrigerator was working just fine, and has continued to work without any complaints from any other guests. We recommend that while checking in, during the hot summer months, due to the refrigerator being opened during check-in day for extended periods of time for cleaning and restocking by the next renters, that it must have time to cool back down.  Avoiding excessive opening/closing of the refrigerator door on the first day helps with the cooling process.   We have a contract with a pest control company, which comes monthly, and also comes the next day when we call if needed, such as when ants are seen in the kitchen.  We ask that the guests do not hesitate to give us a call whenever they have a problem.  It is important to clean up spills and wipe down counters, especially at the beach where there are ants. We as owners, take great pride in our house and are very selective with the guests that we choose to stay in our home.  We live in Virginia Beach and come to check on the house for maintenance and cleaning quite frequently. Being from New Jersey myself, my husband and I welcome people from all over and love to hear where our guest are coming from, this is no way meant to offend anyone. Lastly we did not, or never would admonish our guests.  With the exception of the refrigerator, we did not receive any further calls from this guest, and like all other guests we have had this summer, believed that this particular guest was pleased with Sea Esta.  Only after the guest's week had ended were these issues brought to our attention, and we expressed our sincere regret that she was not completely satisfied with Sea Esta and that she could have called us at any time, so that we could have addressed any issues they may have had.

    We enjoed our stay and everything was as expected except for a couple of rain days. The owners were great to help us. i would recommend this house to my friends and family.

    We LOVED our month-long stay at Sea-Esta! The home was spotless, convenient to the beach and provided lots of flexible parking. It is clear that the owners have put a TON of thought into the things they've put into the house -- no matter what we needed, it was available -- down to the corn cob holders! Lizette was a dream to work with. We've stayed in several Sandbridge homes, and the North End is the best. Every dollar we spent was well worth it! We'd recommend Sea-Esta in a heartbeat, and will stay with them again if we're ever in Sandbridge.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

    The house is very comfortable and well kept. The layout is great for families with a big central area, a very comfortable L-shaped couch, large-screened tv, a few porches, etc. It's about a block from the beach, but with access directly in front of the house (you walk out the front door, keep going, and you hit the beach. The owner is very helpful and lovely to interact with. Plus the price is very reasonable for the area.

    Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.
