Casa Paloma is a new luxury gated Casita in the Cabo Blanco Residential Area of Barra de Navidad
The Pacifico Poolside Suite is spacious, light and airy. With two Queen bedrooms and a fully equipped Kitchen we hope you will quickly settle in and make it your home away from home. There is also a futon in the open living room for extra people or napping. The bathroom is lovely and uses traditional telavera tiles. The walk-in shower is extra large with a window so you can feel part of the outdoors
The huge Rooftop Palapa (where you will have 360* views of Barra and the Grand Bay Hotel) will make you want to settle in. This is the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon siesta, and stunning sunsets. The covered Palapa is also lit for evening card games.
The swimming pool is a private and refreshing oasis.
Whether you are taking in the many water sports, Spanish lessons (right around the corner) walking the beach, or just enjoying the incredible weather at home, you will find Casa Paloma pretty much as good as it gets.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic 2 week vacation staying at Casa Paloma. The suite was lovely, spacious, and perfectly stocked. The Palapa was a highlight with it’s wonderful 360 degree views and many hammocks for relaxing. We made great use of the pool for refreshing dips, peaceful floating, and rousing games of pool volleyball. Casa Paloma was easy walking distance to everything in Barra de Navidad. Dave and Cher were warm and helpful owners going out of their way to make our stay memorable and we hope to return again in the future.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

Cher and Dave made our stay very memorable, warm people with a great Casa. Enjoyable rooftop palapa with awesome views and comfortable seating and hammocks for reading. For the "four" of us the Casa Paloma was excellent. It was very large and we had lots of room in every room to accomodate 4 adults. Even though it has one bathroom it worked out great, it was oversize too. The whole place in and out had a great Mexican theme. The Palapa was HUGE with 3 hammocks, 2 sitting hammocks, a large 6 seat table/chairs (same version as in the suite-super comfortable) and still lots more room around it all. The view was gorgeous and the sunsets unreal....The pool was a god-send for us, we enjoyed it so much, "so refreshing" after our walks to town, exploring, or just laying around to sunbathe. We couldn't find better landlords, a "wealth of information" and "so helpfull with everything we did". We had so many great conversations and laughs. They had a great book in our suite with all the Restaurants, Maps of areas, Attractions etc. We found everything we needed shopping for food, etc. within close range.The downtown area for clothes, restaurants, souveniers etc. was a nice close walk. We were there for a month and enjoyed it immensely. We highly recommend Casa Paloma to anybody looking for a great, clean, place to holiday in. We stayed at Casa Paloma for 10 days and loved it! The location was perfect...walking distance to everything. The suite was very charming, well equipped for us to make a Christmas dinner, very clean and it was a perfect place to rest and relax. The owners are wonderful people and can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We will highly recommend this place to our friends and family.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

We just returned from two weeks at the suite Pacifica at Casa Paloma and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there. The suite is a very lovely and spacious 2 bedrooms with a full kitchen. Then of course there is the wonderful pool to cool off in and the palapa to be lazy on with the hammocks swinging in the breeze and a full view of Barra and area. There were four of us in the suite for the second week and we found we had plenty of room and we could have easily had children on the futons if we had needed to. Barra is a quaint, pretty and well swept place (!) with friendly people and many good restaurants. All in all a great place to completely relax and slow down the pace of life. Cher and Dave were very helpful in getting us the information we needed to get around and see the area and feel safe and well cared for!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at Casa Paloma - very clean, pleasant accommodations and new. Close to the beach, the bus stop (to Malaque) and the centre of town (lots of restaurants and things to see). Loved walking everyday, especially to the Malacon. Enjoyed the pool and the palapa daily. The Owners, Dave and Cher, are very knowledgeable about the area and can help you with anything you need. Will definately be back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Had an amazing time while we stayed at Casa Paloma. Barra de Navidad is a wonderful and beautiful place to bring your family with lots to do and fantastic restaurants. Casa Paloma is a beautiful, clean and relaxing place to stay. Cheryl and Dave (owners) were a fountain of knowledge when we needed any information about getting around, restaurants or simply just things for us to do. From the pool to the rooftop patio, everything was geared around having fun and relaxing. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Paloma to anyone...It was simply the best holiday we have ever taken.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We stayed at Casa Paloma for two weeks and very much enjoyed our time here! Casa Paloma was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Casa Paloma was all it was represented to be. The owners were very helpfull with our stay and are very knowledgeable about Barra de Navidad and the surrounding areas. About the owner: Dave and Cher live on Vancouver Island and at Casa Paloma in the winters. We both have a design and home building background, and designed Casa Paloma with attention to detail. Carlos is our small Poodle/Yorkie cross who loves everyone, but feel free to keep the gate to your area closed if his friendliness is not welcome.
Why the Owner Chose Barra de Navidad:
We had been looking in Mexico for 8 years before we found Barra de Navidad. When we saw Barra 3 years ago, it was love at first sight.
The climate is perfect, the people friendly, restaurants are amazing and affordable, the beach is lovely with beautiful views of the bay and fun waves to swim and surf in. Everything is walking distance, which makes Barra a simple way of life.
