The main home was built in 1990, the Cocina Casita was completely rebuilt in 2006 and the Master Bedroom Casita was built in 2009.
The Unique Benefits at this Country House / Chateau
The privacy of the compound makes you feel as if your in a private paradise. We wake to bird song with the sunrise and the many species of birds are incredible to watch. Humming birds fly in and out the kitchen windows.
Formerly Hotel Cabo San Lucas, now Chileno Bay Club, a 27 hole Jack Nicklaus Golf Club.

We chose the site from a fishing boat off the coast. The gently sloping terrain from coast to mountains provided unlimited views of ten miles of coast between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. We were the first to purchase in this area and had to cut a barbed wire fence to put in the road from the highway to the top of a hill which was the prime spot for building. We camped on the property for two years while building and placed the three separate buildings with much attention to views, wind patterns and sun.

Our family goes to Rancho La Rana once every year. Our whole family are surfers and love the central location of this property with a great surfing beach across the road, and a snorkeling beach around the point. It a great place to relax and spend time with friends and family.
Recommended for:Age 55+, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

This is the most peaceful home we have ever stayed in. The views of surrounding natural green areas, mountains and ocean are incredible. Truly a place to have a family vacation.
