Living in North Idaho, the winters can get pretty long. The girls needed some sun. Our trip to this condo was perfect. The layout was wonderful . . . Plenty of bathroom space, spacious living room for hanging out and the pool area was perfect. The condo was very clean. The bedrooms were neat as a pin and the bathrooms smelled fresh and clean. The towns of Carefree and Cave Creek were great. Plenty to do during the day (when we weren't at the pool) and lots of dinner options from elegant to casual. We will definitely be going back. The four of us agreed, it was a great place to go and the condo was perfect. Thanks again.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Wow!!! What a wonderful vacation we had! THe property is beautiful and everything is as described. THe condo is beautiful and well appointed. Nothing has been overlooked. The pool area is lovely and we spent considerable time just lounging there. THe location is far enough away from Scottsdale to be peaceful and close enough for shopping, entertainment and dining. It is also close to the charming town of Cave Creek. We love this area! Thanks for an enjoyable trip!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We arrived at the property to find it much better than we expected. People laughed at us for going to AZ in August but we loved it! Not as many people around so we felt like we were at the complex by ourselves. We came with another couple, but this place could have held our kids too and we would have still felt the spaciousness of it. The grounds were clean and the pool area was amazing. I got the nickname of Elli Mae since I was out in the "cement pond" every morning before anyone was up! It was close to several great food locations as well as great bars and stores. The Mexican food place with the pond (can't remember the name) was my favorite but we ate at three other places in town that were great too. Wasn't to happy with the nearby resort's buffet but I guess you don't go to a seafood buffet in AZ when you're from WA. Although we did venture into PHX for a concert and to check out SoCal, all of us would have been happy just kickin' it up at the Condo or in Carefree and the other close town. We're heading down again soon!! I would totally recommend this place to friends and family!! Next time I go, I'll be sure to post the names of some of the better restaurants for you!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: After travelling to Carefree for a golf trip and golf lessons, we fell in love with the area for it's variety of activities and it's overall beauty. As avid road cyclists, the area North of Scottsdale is a great, safe place ride in the beautiful weather and soak up the sun. We own 2 identical condos in The Village at Carefree. The condos themselves are set up perfect for both families with kids and couples travelling together. The layout of the condos provides 2 'Master Suites' separated by the indoor foyer. Each Master Suite has its own full bathroom and 2 queen beds. The main living area has a large living room, kitchen, dining area and an additional bath with a shower.
