I had the opportunity of spending a week last summer with my girlfriends at this cottage. We had a fantastic time. The cottage is very cozy and has all the amenities that you would need. The lower dock is a great place to hang out for the day and a quick jump in to the water to cool off. Most nights you would find us outside on the upper patio having our dinner, enjoying the view and watching the beautiful star filled nights. A great place to relax and just enjoy yourself. Would highly recommend.

Great time in Muskoka
Great time in Muskoka
We stayed at this cottage and had a wonderful time, it was very clean and well equipped. Really enjoyed the large bbq on the deck and the ability to relax and put your feet up while enjoying the beautiful lake view and the sound of the loons. I had never heard of an inclinator before but it turned out to be a lot of fun. It is kind of like a chair lift with benches and can hold six people seated. The home is nestled in the trees and very private. The water is extremely fresh and clean, if you enjoy fishing or water sports this is the perfect place. We prepared our own meals most of the time but did try the nearby "Crossroads" restaurant one night and found it to be very good. The village is tiny but has a great little grocery store with lots of friendly people. I was very pleased to have a pleasant, quiet vacation with my family and it certainly allowed lots of time to be together. All in all I would give this place a 10 out of 10, it is really quite roomy to the point that pictures can't do it justice. For a family getaway in Canada's Muskoka country it's well worth the trip.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Rosseau:
Our cottage is located just over two hours from Toronto. We both grew up at summer cottages and wanted to share that experience with our children and grandchildren. We like to keep active with golf, skiing, swimming and boating and this cottage offers all the activity or a peaceful calm for those lazy days.
