Upon arrival looking at the exterior made me anticipate what was inside. As soon as the door was opened our mouth's dropped with astonishment! This cabin fits the online description to the T. It was truly more than we had expected. There were four levels and each level had an attraction or an activity!. And although we were miles from home, this cabin felt like home! My husband expressed how helpful and truly genuine the owner was during our stay. we would recommend this particular cabin to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The cabin was well-built and clean. The view of the mountain was wonderful. It is located right off the main entrance to the park which was really convenient-- avoid all the traffic of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The gated community was very nice. The cabin is 4 levels with the kitchen/living area on the main floor. Had a nice hot tub on the deck with lovely views of the starry sky! John was a pleasure to deal with... We had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our entire family went looking for the fall colors but it was a little early yet. The home and views were excellent and John could not be more helpful and support of our family. Looking for a great place close to the shops but away from all the noise, pick Smoky View Lodge. Also, great parking for the entire family! That can be a problem at many places in the monutains. Warmest regards to John for a great weekend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The cabin was everything the owner said it would be and then some. We were at the top of a ridge overlookinging the mountains. We even got to see a lightening show one evening. We loved the size of the cabin beccause we had three different families so each family took a level and everyone had their own privacy. We were near anything and everything there was to do in the area. We would definately go back to the same cabin.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Garbage pick up was a problem on 2 of 6 days. Bears got into the garbage the first night and made a big mess. Two door knobs needed to be tightened. Filters needed to be replaced as air conditioner not effective in lower levels. More towels needed for each bedroom. Sink drain baskets missing upon arrival. Housekeeping needs to improve: cobwebs, carpets and grout in master bedroom in basement. Hor tub rules posted on main level porch and hot tub on lowest level. Beautiful views and listing photos were accurate. John was responsive when called. Horseback riding, zip lines, helicopter rides and of course the Smoky Mountain views were all alot of fun. We found Gatlinburg easier to access and less congested. Drawback of Gatlinburg is parking is @ least $8.00 so plan to be there awhile. Overall a good time was had by all (4 y/o-63 y/o).Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
Owner response: One of the things you come to the mountains to see are the black bears in the area. Unfortunately sometimes they can be a nusiance. The trash pick up personel had quit without our knowledge leaving us to quickly have to get something in place. We responded that morning and the problem was quickly taken care of. We do regular monthly maintenance on our cabin including the filters. Also we provide a full size front load washer/dryer for our guest. We appreciate any guest letting us know of any issues so we can address it. Our number 1 goal is providing a clean inviting cabin for our guest to enjoy. Prompt customer service is something we work very hard to acheive.

This cabin is beautiful and has everything as described. It has amazing views and plenty of room for everyone. We took our family of five, plus a friend and granny. The teens had the bottom level each with their own bed and bath. They loved the hot tub on the balcony. The next level up was wonderful for the whole family. We had great fun in the theater room watching all four of the Tremors movies! The sectional sofa is very comfortable. Someone could easily sleep on it. Granny was on main level so she didn't have to climb any stairs. Everyone had a great space. It was perfect for us. The owner, John is so nice and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

The property is exactly as described and is in a fantastic location with great views from any one of the many decks. It has an amazing amount of space and is perfect for family vacations. You will not be disappointed in this property or the many amenities offered - games, pool table, air hockey, jacuzzi, theater room, etc. Our family has visited the area on a couple of different occasions this year and each time we have rented from this property owner. This owner has been fantastic to work with and we will definitely be using him in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
