Location, location, location… this beautiful villa is one of the original units built directly across the street from the ocean in the exclusive west end of Ocean Isle Beach, just 16 steps from the beach access. You can’t get any closer unless you rent a beach front home.
The large covered deck offers unobstructed views of the ocean and is perfect for enjoying that early morning cup of coffee or winding down at the end of the day. You are close enough to see and hear the waves as they crash onto the shore and feel the constant breeze that you can only get by being close to the water. We recently added a Nags Head porch swing for two and two lifeguard chairs, to go with the many large rocking chairs.
The proximity to the beach also means that you won’t have to pack everything you might need for a day at the beach and lug it ½ mile back and forth. Just take what you need to start your day, walk down the stairs, cross the street and you’re on the beach...
Renters also enjoy exclusive membership rights to The Islander Beach Club which is just down the street. The Islander Beach Club offers a huge oceanside pool with adjacent hot tubs and a tanning deck, a childrens' pool, and features one of Brunswick County’s finest restaurants, The Isles. If you need a break from the sand and saltwater, enjoy the sun from a poolside lounge chair and take advantage of a tropical drink from the outside Tiki Bar.
Inside, the accommodations are top notch with nine-foot ceilings, crown moldings and ceiling fans throughout the 1,700 square feet. The living room has a large TV with a cable DVR box so you can easily record any of your favorite shows during your stay. The dinning table seats 8 comfortably and the extended kitchen counter with its large wooden stools (with backs) seats another 5. Each of the four bedrooms has its own bath and TV with cable and DVD. For 2009 we also added high speed internet access. Additional specifications are provided below.
There are dozens of great golf courses like Rivers Edge, Oyster Bay, Tigers Eye, Heather Glen, Glen Dornoch, The Pearl, Tidewater, etc. within 10-20 minutes, and nearly 100 more within another 10-20 minutes. You can rent bikes, surfboards, kayaks and jet-skis right on the island by the hour, the day or the week. Other great adventures like para-sailing or deep sea fishing trips are also available.
With Myrtle Beach just 25 minutes away a world of shopping, restaurants and entertainment awaits. Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach are typically must sees and offer live entertainment at the Alabama Theater, the House of Blues, and the Palace Theater.
