Right on the waters edge with an easy walk to the private covered boat slip. Huge main level two story great room with hardwood floors and seated dining for 27. Gourmet kitchen with double convection ovens, 36-inch cooktop, granite countertops, 2 dishwashers and a large stainless steel refrigerator. This house is wide and spacious with 4,500 square feet of space on just 2 and a half floors. You will enjoy this peaceful lakefront setting 100 yards from the road in the middle of 50 wooded acres.
The lower level great room inlcudes a second refrigerator, microwave and undercounter ice maker. Games include a full sized pool table, foosball table and two flat screen tv's. The hot tub is located just outside on the large covered deck overlooking the lake. Be sure to bring your wii or xbox with you.
Large groups will appreciate the double bowl vanities and separate toilet and showers in the spacious bathrooms. The expansive 50 x 10 covered decks are equipped with paddle fans, so everyone can enjoy the mountain setting into the evening, rain or shine. The dock has a large swim deck and solid concrete steps at the waters edge, so it's accessible for everyone. No climbing over rocks or walking through mud. The steps reach to the winter low water level, so you can get to your boat anytime of the year. Ample parking is available on the deep private lane.
Walk the gentle slope to the water, or the more adventurous may want to take a walk through the woods on the walking trails.
Located in a no wake zone just off of the main lake in a deepwater cove. Enjoy swimming, fishing, flatwater kayaking, or just hanging out on the private dock. Flat Hollow Marina is conveniently located between the dock and main lake. Pick up those miscellaneous supplies or get a bite to eat without making a special trip. See Norris how it used to be.
This is an exceptional home in a great private setting. Get away from the crowds. You will not be disappointed.

14 of our family spent Thanksgiving in this beautiful home. The home was very clean, in excellent shape and very comfortable. The deck was a wonderful place to gather, and the dock ws very acessible. The kitchen was comfortable and very well equiped for cooking, and the open layout allowed us all to be together while preparing as well as dining and cleaning up. It was also very spacious allowing for an after dinner nap in the quiet! The cove and surrounding area this home is located in is beautiful and offered easy access to fishing and hiking. Making the rental arrangements was very easy with the owner being extremely responsive. We had one small issue on Thanksgiving day and notified the owner, not really expecting to hear anything back until Friday. In a very short time the owner had replied with a "quick fix" and also made arrangements to address the problem later that (Thanksgiving) day! Absolutly wonderful service and support! We hope to return to this home in the future, and would highly reccomend it to others during any season.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Beautiful Home!
Beautiful Home!

We recently stayed for a week in this home at Norris Lake. The house was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes, pots and pans, appliances, linens, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well stocked with linens, towels, and washcloths. The beds were clean and comfortable. We needed to contact the owner twice, and his response was prompt and courteous. The covered decks with the fans made for pleasant outdoor relaxation. The only word of caution would be on the path down to the lake from the house. It is steep and not paved for part of the way and could be difficult for older people or small children. I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend it to friends.Owner response: In July 2012 we added a flight of stairs with handrails. The steps offer an alternative to the path. In addition, there are concrete steps starting 10 feet or so above the shoreline and extending into the water down to the winter low.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: I've visited Norris Lake since I was a child. I enjoy finshing and water sports and like to share these hobbies with friends and family. I designed and built this home based on our family vacation experiences to various destinations over the years. We look forward to our time here and I think your family will enjoy it too.
Why the Owner Chose LaFollette:
Norris is a big lake with deep clean water. It's really easy to get to by interstate highway, and yet is peaceful and removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Overlook Bay features large wooded lots and is removed from the crowds. It's also less than an hour from Knoxville and less than 2 hours from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The large open indoor and outdoor spaces of this house will create lasting shared memories. You'll enjoy both the beauty of the lake and the mountains. The no wake zone lets you enjoy the lake anytime.
