  This villa met all of our expectations and more. We were thrilled with the immaculate, spacious kitchen, dining area, and large deck, with another table. We had 3 couples on the vacation, and really appreciated having the 3 individual baths, for privacy. There was a surprise food basket waiting for us with local cheeses, crackers, olives, and other snacks (which we devoured at Honeymoon Beach). We appreciated that extra touch along with the lovely Caribbean decor throughout the Villa. The management company accomodated all of our requests, and theyre close by, so you need not worry about renting there. The location is close to town, which is another convenience, and you can easily walk there. Our favorite beach for snorkeling was Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay, and for relaxing, were Maho, and Cinnamon Bay. Our favorite restaurant was Rhumb Lines, in Cruz Bay. The owner also was gracious with sharing her favorite places, and restaurants which also helped with our planning. Hope you will love St John as much as we did!

As a former St. John resident who maintains a passion for "Love City," I find myself unable to restrain myself from doing "one more thing," even though I know I have dotted every "i" and crossed every "t." As for St. John, I saw a hilarious photo of Puxatawney Phil and his Ground Hog's Day prediction for St. John: 12 months of 80 degrees!   My husband and I attended a destination wedding in St. John in November 2012. We stayed at Tropical Blessings with two other couples. It was beautifully decorated and immaculate and we all immediately felt comfortable and at home. The layout of the condo (none of the bedrooms are next to each other, three full bathrooms) allowed for plenty of space and privacy for each couple. Tropical Blessings was fully stocked with anything we could have needed, including beach towels, a cooler, and beach chairs that we could bring with us to the incredible St. John beaches. The pool isn't huge but certainly adequate for a dip, especially since if you are in St. John you really should be at the beach instead of the pool! The location was ideal for walking to town and all the restaurants/bars. The consensus at the end of the trip was unanimous - every one of us said we would definitely stay here again!

  I came to St. John for my beach wedding this July, and we rented Tropical Blessings so all of our guests could stay together. I couldn't have been happier with the house. It was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and lots of thoughtful details were everywhere. We didn't really cook, but if we had, the kitchen would have been perfect. It has absolutely everything - even a spice rack! There was also a curling iron in the master bathroom that was much better than the one I brought, so I used it to curl my hair for my wedding. Thanks Karla! Our friends loved sitting and talking on the deck, and we had the swimming pool all to ourselves (except for some iguanas). In fact, we hardly saw or heard any neighbors the whole five days we were there. It was my first trip to St. John and Karla spent nearly an hour telling me all the best places to go, which was super useful! We followed many of her suggestions, including eating at ZoZo's on our wedding night. The restaurant is exactly what we were looking for, and it's right up the street from Tropical Blessings, so we walked home afterwards to continue celebrating. If you're traveling to St. John with a group of people or your family, I definitely recommend staying here instead of an impersonal Cruz Bay hotel.

  My girlfriends and I were on St John in August and were fortunate enough to find this wonderful location to stay at! Karla, the owner, was a real pleasure to talk to and had a number of great recommendations for our stay. This was my 4th trip to St John and I have rented from a number of locations on the island, never at a hotel... This was the BEST location so far! It was well stocked with all the necessities, better than I've ever experienced and the condo itself was just beautiful. I would recommend this location to anyone! Thanks to Karla for opening her beautiful home to us!

  We stayed at Palm Terrace #2 (“Tropical Blessings”) in December 2011 and loved it! So close to Cruz Bay (10-minute walk), but still a quiet and charming neighborhood. Just a few minutes’ walk down the lane is Frank Bay Beach, which has some pretty decent snorkeling. This place is outfitted to a T – plush, comfortable furnishings, a spacious kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat in (really helps the vacation budget!), a “book nook” with an extensive collection of best-sellers, well-appointed bedrooms with bathrooms ensuite, and a washer and dryer. The great room has two sets of large sliding doors onto the deck to beautiful ocean views. Perfect for cocktails while you watch the sun set! A modern, pristine luxury condominium with St. John charm – what a great combo!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  We stayed at Tropical Blessings on our second trip to St John and had a perfect time. Our first impression was how spacious and tastefully decorated it was. We are a family of 6 and had plenty of room to be together in the great room, read quietly on one of the decks, or take a nap in one of the three large bedrooms. The masonry construction keeps things quiet and cool. The view is to the southwest. At night the lights of St Thomas and the stars fill the sky. During the day the St Croix is in the distance. Parking is a few steps away and never a problem. The 10 minute walk to town was easy, even for the 4 yr old! Everything in Cruz Bay is an easy walk. The condo is on a quiet street of private homes that made us feel we lived on St John and not just staying for a week. We met some of the neighbors on the walks to town. The kitchen has every convenience you need for entertaining and everything is in tip top shape. The greeter met us at the barge, showed us how everything worked, and provides a big book of menus for the restaurants. Tropical Blessings provides easy access to the night life of Cruz Bay and tranquil quiet when you get home.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
