  Villa Lagu was picture perfect from the time we walked in the door to gorgeous fresh flowers and refreshing drinks until we checked out. The home is very comfortable and spacious, and the outdoor areas are beautful and relaxing. Beinging right on the beach was great as the kids could easily play in the pool or beach at a moments notice. We particularly enjoyed sunrise dolphin watching and getting picked up right on the beach in front of the villa was a nice touch. All of the staff was helpful in arranging activities, massages, and yummy food.

  We stayed in Villa Lagu just for one week, but we would have stayed there for much longer if possible. When we arrived we were truly amazed. The Villa is really beautifull, a big garden, nice pool and with a fantastic view. Everyting is and around Villa Lagu is great. Because the house is bild in a quit area, we advise people to rent a scooter because everything is far a way. It takes about 30 min to get to Lovina. You really need a taxi or scooter to get anywere. Don't forget that you need an international drivers licence even to drive a scooter. Wayan, the manager of the house, can also arrange a taxi wich can drive you.

  Villa Lagu is een van de mooiste villas waar ik ben geweest. Onze kamer(s) was geweldig .. zo ruim, met een prachtig uitzicht. Het zwembad was prachtig en de perfecte plek & te ontspannen. Al het personeel was zo attent en behulpzaam het maakte onze vakantie allemaal nog meer bijzonder. Ik heb Bali comfort villas aan mijn vrienden en familie aanbevolen. Kom zeker weer terug!

  Wil je heerlijk relaxen in een prachtig huis wat voorzien is van alle gemakken dan is Villa Lagu de ideale bestemming. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en huismanager Wayan , is een topper !, Hij brengt je naar de mooiste plekjes op Bali ! Laat je heerlijk masseren voor slechts euro 8 en je voelt je herboren. Het huis voelt als een warm bad!

  I am sitting in a comfortable chair, under a thatched roof staring at the sea. My special needs son (autism) is playing the pool and having yet another wonderful day here. Villa Lagu is a slice of heaven for a buch of reasons: -The house sits right on the beach -The staff is friendly and helpful. Wayan, the manager and driver, took us to his house of a New Year's celebration -The staff are great cooks and do all the shopping for you -The grounds are simply beautiful and so well attended to -The pool is the perfect size and has wonderful chairs and a massage hut The worst part about Villa Lagu is leaving it. We had so much fun and are so sad to leave tomorrow. We sat around the house a couple days but mostly got out and enjoyed the voluminous number of activities such as snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls, trip to Ubud, trips to Lovina, and dolphin watching. Book this place, before someone beats you to it!

  We just came back from our honeymoon in Bali. We stayed at two other places that was nice, but Villa Lagu, the last place we stay, was simply paradise! We received a very warm welcome from Wajan and the lovely employees. The staf is so nice, they do everything for you! The location is beautiful, it is really the most beautiful place I can imagine. The villa is amazing, it is perfect. It is so modern and luxurious and the Balinese decoration terrific. The garden is so large and beautiful. Le village Lovina is lovely, we went to have dinner in Starlight on the beach, it was so romantic. But the most romantic was the dinner on the beach, that the girls organise for us. Perfect romance. We only stay here for 4 nights but we have seen so much, because Wajan takes us to so many nice place. It was amazing and perfect. We will go back here with our friends next year!   My fiance and I stayed here for 7 nights in March before traveling to Singapore for 3-week coursework. To sum it up, I don't think we can go on another vacation again; way too spoiled now!! The ocean is right outside of the gate yet we mostly stayed by the pool because leaving Villa Lagu's gorgeous yard was hard to do. It rained for a little bit almost everyday for us but it was still very hot all day. Night time cooled down to comfortable temperatures. North Bali is so perfect for relaxation and genuine Balinese culture. Lovina is filled with plenty of great restaurant/bars but it still quite low key. For those who love the water, we went scuba diving with Spice Dive to Menjangan Island. It had the most diversity of coral I have seen yet and the water is always nice and warm. My fiance didn't even use a wetsuit. The staff was fantastic. We had two women who did all the cooking (amazing) and cleaning as well as a gardener to keep the pool and landscape in perfect condition. Their English was certainly lacking but they remained attentive and learned quickly. They were there for whatever we needed but also great about giving us privacy. The true saving grace was the manager/driver Wayan who spoke perfect English. Since he picked us up from the airport all the way till he had to drop us back off, he was the best helper and tour guide you could ever ask for. All staff including Wayan were locals of the surrounding poor area and you could tell how much pride they have in holding such a job. We were extra lucky because Shirley's parents happened to be staying in Villa Danison next door. We got to hear all about the villas' creation and how generous the family is to the Balinese people, especially the staff. I couldn't have rented from more caring people. I will certainly return to this magical place and recommend this to anyone looking for an exotic, luxurious, or romantic vacation.

  Heavenly, beautiful, staff amazing with children, just what we needed We have to give 6 stars to Villa Lagu! We stayed for 6 nights in the big suite on the first floor. We had great views of the garden, beach and sea. Our room was very very big! Our 2 children and my sister were sleeping downstairs. They loved the bathroom which were partly inside and partly open air (the showers). They were first afraid that many insects would come there but luckily that was not the case. The children had a great time in the pool and in the Jacuzzi and so did we. The sound of the ocean in the evening is so beautiful. The location is so perfect. It is on the beach, you walk out of the garden, on to the beach and walk into the sea. The children were swimming a lot in the sea. We liked the pool better because the sea was so warm. The breakfast was very good, there were a lot of choices, they also maked heartshaped fried eggs for the children and we loved escpecially the fresh juices. Our favorite snack is the onionrings! And on the birthday of our daughter the manager (he is also the driver) arranged for some balloons and a birthday cake, how thoughtful is that! And then they were singing happy birthday to her! A very special thank you to everyone at Villa Lagu for making her birthday so special. We have been to this area a lot and this villa had by far the best service and location we have experienced so far. Go to Villa Lagu, you will not be disappointed!

  super lovely place for relaction and executions,(if you are looking for lots of turits this is not for you) staff are doing all for you, prepering all meals ( it taste delicius) and only the coast of indgredients, and it is cheap in bali ( ca 300000idr for 4 people a day). we had 6 super lovely days, and will come stay at this place again. stayed with 2 daughters 13-18 and they also had a gret time. k.bach

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
