  The house was great, however the beds could use some better mattresses and the cleaning company needs to do a better job of getting up the pet hair from previous pets. My toddler had pet hair all over her the entire week. As for that we enjoyed the house and the pool.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay in this well maintained beautiful home. Some homes in rental programs display pictures that do not depict the current condition of the property. However, the pictures on this one are exactly what you will find when you get to your 'home away from home'! We found it to be very relaxing, well equipped and very affordable. It is conveniently located in South Ridge directly behind the Nags Head Post Office. It is an excellent community for leisurely walks in the evenings to take in the sunset over the sound. Having your own private pool makes the family more relaxed than visiting a community pool. We had a great week! Thank you so much for affording us the opportunity to stay in your wonderful beach house. We will be a return guest when we get the time to get away again!

  This home was exactly as pictured and more. We loved it. The home was clean, sunny and bright. Beautiful breezes on both the front and back decks. The neighborhood is great and it's a short walk to the sound and the ocean. It was extra nice to have the pool. It was our first time visiting OBX and we were thrilled by the proximity of this home to dining, shopping and sightseeing. The owners are friendly, courteous and very easy to communicate with and welcomed our 5 year old boxer without hesitation.We would recommend this home to a friend and we actually already did. Wish we were there right now and hope to return soon.

  My running group rented this house for the OBX Marathon weekend. It is a perfect house for large groups! We were together but still had our own separate rooms with privacy. It is very close to everything, food, shopping, & attractions. The owner is extremely nice and very easy to deal with! I would 100% recommend this property!

  We had a great experience in the M&M property and definetly recommend this property. We liked the conveniences and ease of access this property and its location offers: partial week option, easy and secure key pick-up/drop-off, eat-in or drive nearby to a restaurant, shop nearby, quiet nights, great walking neighborhood, walk to the sound/dunes, hop over to the beach, swim in the back yard pool, plenty of parking, condusive layout for all ages, spacious for 9 folks, and kitchen and laundry amenities. Also responsible for the success of our experience is the very pleasant owner who is responsive, prompt, and overall great to work with. The pictures are a true representation of the property/amenities, and the property description is accurate: beautiful, well maintained and equiped, quiet setting in a new neighborhood, a quick walk from Jockey's ridge dunes, and a quick drive to the public beach access. The pool and poolside area is nice and the alarm definetly works. :o) The general layout of the house is nice and very favorable for the number of us staying as well as the age range (1.5 years to 86 years.) The first level has the washer and dryer, a full bath (shower), and carpeted bedroom with queen size bed. The second floor has the kitchen with a breakfast nook area and a deck area overlooking the pool. Just off of the kitchen is an open floor plan for the dining room area and living room which have an entrance to the front deck. Just off the otherside of the kitchen is a half bath followed by a carpeted bedroom with queen size bed and private full bath (bath tub). The third floor, has a carpeted overlook balcony to the living room and has one shared full bath between two carpeted bedrooms. One bedroom has two twin beds, an awesome hammock rocking chair, and a private balcony; the other bedroom has a twin/double bunk set with an awesome view of the sunrise. All four bedrooms have nice sized closets. Thank you to VRBO and the owner for helping our family have an awesome vacation!
