Relax in a 2100 sq. ft. log cabin nestled in the San Juan Mountains, nearby famous Pagosa Hot Springs and Wolf Creek Ski Resort. The cabin has a broad balcony the length of the cabin with a grill that opens up to pine trees and mountains.
The cabin is convenient to the town of Pagosa Springs with shopping and restaurants available. In the winter you can enjoy Wolf Creek Ski Resort, which routinely gets the most snow of all the Colorado ski resorts. Wolf Creek Ski Resort is located in the San Juan National Forest and does not have over night accommodations. Skiers stay in cabin homes such as the Antelope Cabin in Pagosa Springs and make the breathtaking 40 minute drive up the mountain to the resort.
In the evenings, after a hard day skiing and a good meal in one of the fine local restaurants, heal your body in the sulfured natural hot springs in down town Pagosa Springs.
In the summer, enjoy not only the hot springs but hiking, biking, golf, rafting, kayaking, horse back riding, and hot air ballooning. Pagosa Springs is only an hour from Durango, which has a historic train ride and 30 minutes from the Chimney Rock Archaeological Site where you can visit the ancient home-site of Pueblo Indians.
Also in the summer months, Pagosa Springs has Folk & Bluegrass festivals in June, Arts & Crafts festivals in July along with a Fourth of July parade, and a hot air balloon rally and air race.
The cabin has a master bedroom and a twin bedroom which both link to the balcony. A third bedroom has a double bed with a window on the front of house. The dinning area also opens up to the balcony and has a window facing the woods with a bird house a few feet away at eye level. The cabin has 3 sleds that can be used to slide down the hill in the back of the cabin or taken to even more adventurous places.
