Harrison cabin description
Beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene waterfront cabin on Moscow Bay. Literally one of the most beautiful bays/views on the entire lake. 18-minutes from downtown Coeur d'Alene. 4-bedroom, 2000+ square feet, 2-bath, fully furnished including all kitchen utensils, plates, cups, cookware, bedding, towels, laundry room, microwave, coffee maker. Boat dock. Beach fire pit. Great gazebo and large gas grill. Easily sleeps eight in main cabin and two in detached loft. Friendly pets welcome (no additional deposit).
Cabin is very large and spacious --- over 2,000+ square feet. Very cute upstairs loft with one bedroom having a fantastic view of the lake. Cabin is older but very comfortable and charming. The cabin is in the center of the bay and the neighbors on both sides are long-time home owners who spend their summers at their respective cabins. They are very nice and very social but please be respectful. They also have pets so while pets are welcome they MUST be friendly and play well with other pets as there are no fences between the lots.
The cabin is about a mile off the main road so it's very quiet, private and you won't need to worry about cars or traffic nearby like most of the lakefront cabins.

Wonderful and relaxing
Wonderful and relaxing
We had so much fun during our stay. It was so relaxing and quiet. The cabin had everything we could ask for. Mark was wonderful to work with and the neighbors were very helpful with directing us to the closest boat launch. We cannot wait to come back next year.

My family of 4 spent a long weekend here, and loved it. We fished, sunned on the huge dock, read, and enjoyed the beautiful Coeur d'Alene area. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. The larger eating and sitting areas make it perfect for a larger group if needed. The bay is very protected, even with the 1 very windy day we had. The location is ideal...20 minutes to downtown Coeur d'Alene, but doesn't seem that long with the pretty drive. Lots to do in the city as well. We were constantly impressed with how friendly the local people were there...very laid back. There are a couple of other properties closeby to the cabin, but it still feels very private, especially being setback off the main road. Don't let the last mile or so of the drive in deter you. It's a little bumpy in a couple of places, but we took it slow and made the trip a dozen times or so without any problems, and we arrived there well after midnight. Just beware you can't get a boat in there, but there is a marina closeby. Our I-Phone Scout talking GPS took us right to the door, and our Sprint cell service was always great. It was actually kind of exciting! At the time, there wasn't any tv available, but the time around a beautiful lakeside bonfire was far better...it's a getaway, right? Load up a couple of movies in your laptop, or hit the local sportsbars if you need a fix. There is a nice fiberglass canoe behind the shed that was fun. The owner was very professional, accommodating, flexible, and seemed interested in our having a good time. He even did a followup call to make sure we got there ok. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Great spot on the lake!
Great spot on the lake!
Location on the lake is awesome. The house was in good order and met all of our needs to sleep 8 adults. Neighbors were very friendly. If driving to the property it would be advisable to have a truck or suv as the road gets a little rough for a short period. All in all, a great place to enjoy the lake.

Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: I'm a senior vice president for a national investment firm in Salt Lake City, UT and am also an adjunct finance professor at the University of Utah. When I'm not working 60+ hours/week I'm working out, traveling, reading, water-skiing, snow skiing, or spending time with my girl friend and dog, although not necessarily in that order ;)
Why the Owner Chose Harrison:
I stumbled across this home last year and fell in love with it. I've never seen a more beautiful spot on the lake (or any lake, for that matter). I love to water-ski and will eventually retire and build my dream home on this lot. But for the time being I'll be content spending a week or two a year here and the rest of the time will rent it out.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
A picture says a thousand words. Once you see the photos I doubt there's anything more I can add.
