  The condo was excellent! Nothing but good things to say!!! Kathryn (the owner) was accommodating for us and everything was described perfectly. The condo was clean, a few steps to the beach, and near local restaurants. We could not have asked for a better week away in FL! Thanks so much. We will definitely return!

  We stayed here while our home was being remodeled. It was very clean & nicely decorated. Gulfview is family friendly and the layout of having the bbq grills by each pool is perfect. We certainly would stay here again and will be telling our friends/relatives about this condo.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  My experience was as positive as it could be, not so much that the place was a five-star hotel or anything, but mostly that the owners of the property did all they could for me and offered such exceptional service that you don't see in America anymore - at least not on the East coast where I am located. In fact, we were hit with Hurricane Sandy the day I was to leave, and so all the flights were canceled and I ended up making it a day late. But sure enough, they offered me a reimbursement for the day I was not able to make it due to that weather-related issue. I don't want to speak for them and guarantee that this would be true for all situations, but I think it reflects the great service and accommodation that I was given throughout my stay there. I highly recommend this place solely based upon their service. As for the actual place, it was quite nice and conveniently located within the complex. It is close enough to the beach and there is a nice side-view of the ocean and sunset from their balcony. The one thing that might bother some is that when you open the balcony door, there is a constant humming sound from the fountain and generator from the next property over. However, I didn't seem to mind it all that much. All in all, I highly recommend this place, and will look for it again myself should I ever come down again.

  Our first family vacation and our first time to Destin and it was AMAZING!!!. It was absolutly beautiful and Kathryn helped make our first family vacation amazing. Upon our arrival Kathryn left us a note and some arrival gifts. We were so surprised and we enjoyed them ALOT!!! Her condo provided everything we needed...a well stocked kitchen, linens, ocean equipment, all we had to purchase was the food to cook. The condo was extremely clean and in order. This condo in person is truely amazing, from the decor to everything you need. Our kids were very please with the bunk beds and slept well. Our bed was the same, even though we had a window in our bedroom the complex was quiet and non distrubing. Needless to say we all slept well!!. Our view from the balcony was breathtaking!!!! Overall we would give this a BIG 5, we know we don't have anything to compare to however we would not want to go anywhere else and we will be back again!!!!! THANKS Kathryn!!! :)

• Great condo

  We had a great time at the gulfview condo. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The complex was nice although sometimes difficult to gain access to the pool area due to it being overcrowded. All in all a great vacation and would recommend it to friends.

  Owner response: Yes, our complex is very popular! That's a good sign! The area is coming back! Our beaches have been restored and the water is beautiful! Fortunately we have at least six months of perfect weather, some of which are not during the most crowded times. So I hope you join us again next season or even better return in the fall or spring when the weather is cooler and the beaches less crowded. Thank you for your patronage! Enjoyed having you!

  We rented this condo over the 4th of July week. The owner was pleasant to deal with and always available if needed for questions. There were plenty of paper goods already there for our use. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach items for use were a pleasant surprise! With 2 pools and a short walk to the beach it was perfect for our family! Also, the unit was very clean upon our arrival and the decor and furnishings were up to date and comfortable! I recommend this place!

  What can I say...I loved it! How could you not, the condo was wonderful, clean and fresh, very well decorated, has everything you need and I felt relaxed and comfortable the moment we walked in the door. The beds were very comfortable and all the appliances and entertainment you could need. Also with 2 pools, hot tub, laundry and guess what...just walk across the street and you find the most wonderful white sand beach and the ocean. Security patroled, never felt insecure (single mom w/2 teen daughters). Met some great families, quite yet close to shopping. Have already recommended to family and friends and plan on going back as soon as possible. You will love it! Thanks Kathryn

  We (myself, husband and kids, ages 2 and 5) visited Destin the week before Memorial Day and it was absolutely perfect. We arrived in town early after driving through the night. We asked Kathryn if we might be able to get in the condo early and she kindly said yes. The condo was clean, cool and nicely decorated. It was completely equipped with everything! She had even included coffee for the first morning. Kathryn left little packages of sand toys and sunscreen for my two kids, which was so nice. There were wonderful beach towels and chairs, along with an umbrella. She even had a railing for the bottom bunk so my littlest wouldn't fall off. We had a couple of small things get broken by our children and Kathryn was extremely gracious and understanding about it. The beach was directly across the street. We spent most of our time there. Wasn't as crowded as other parts of the beach, which was so nice. The water and weather couldn't have been better. We only went to the pool once but it was nice. We really enjoyed visiting McGuire's and The Donut Hole. We went both places twice. We couldn't have had a better stay. The condo was immaculate and every little thing was included. The entire property was well maintained (there were constantly maintenance people doing tasks around, including cleaning the pools and painting). I would definitely recommend Kathryn and her property to family and friends and anyone else who would listen! Her customer service was outstanding.

  The condo was very nice, even nicer than the pictures could show. We were very pleased with the view and location to the beach. We usually bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, towels, etc. as most places just have a "starter" amount. We were surprised with the generous amount of everything you could need for the week including paper products, towels, beach towels, trash bags, etc. The owner left us a very sweet welcome basket and note and checked on us to make sure we were okay when we decided to head home a day early. The place is very compact and there is not a lot of room to store any luggage or food except in the refridgerator. For a busy place we found it to be very quiet and relaxing. We loved the keyless entry!

Some hints on storing luggage I've learned are to try under the bed or at the top of the closet! The top bunk can also be used for this purpose if need be.   Perfect for our family of three. Can't believe how well stocked the condo was. Loved the location right across from the beach and in the quiet end of town. Kathryn even left an Easter basket for my daughter, which she loved. Thanks so much for everything, we really enjoyed our stay.
