Casa Azul del Caribe is a newly constructed home located directly on the Caribbean Sea on the island of Isla Mujeres. Isla Mujeres is located 8 miles off the coast of Cancún on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, and can be reached by a 20 minute ferry ride from Puerto Juárez, Cancún. Located on a quiet street in the Salina Chica neighborhood, Casa Azul is conveniently located on the Caribbean side of Isla Mujeres facing the north, and is in close proximity to Playa Norte and the restaurants and activities in el centro, as well as surrounding colonias.
Casa Azul del Caribe features four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The first floor includes a fully-equipped kitchen and separate dining and living areas, offering sweeping views of the Caribbean. The home is equipped with wireless hi-speed internet and air-conditioning throughout. There also is a 32” flat-screen television with over 80 cable channels and a DVD player. Also on the first floor are two large bedrooms with queen beds, and a full bathroom.
The second floor features the Master Suite, with stunning, unobstructed views of the Caribbean. Located in the suite is an oversized bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower. The suite also includes a large, private balcony, a king-sized bed, and a 32” flat-screen television. Located adjacent to the Master Suite is a fourth bedroom with a full-sized bed. The room is more suitable for guests travelling with children due to its proximity to the Master Suite. The second level also has a street-facing terrace and garden.
The home also features a roof-top palapa and a 40-ft Tiki bar, offering 360 degree, panoramic views of the island, as well as across the water to Cancún.
Casa Azul shares the ocean-side pool, swim-up bar, and patio area with its neighbor, El Castillo Maya. The two properties can be rented together to accommodate large parties of 16-20 people – a great option for a family reunion or a wedding! There is plenty of off-street parking and both properties are beautifully landscaped.

In order to confirm a reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the total rental cost. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations are allowed up to 30 days prior to arrival and the deposit will be returned in full. After 30 days until 14 days prior to the reservation, cancellations will incur a forfeiture of 50% of the deposit. For cancellations within 14 days, no refund of the deposit will be given. We highly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to safeguard against unforeseen circumstances, such as illness or weather.
There is also a non-refundable $39 Property Damage Protection fee assessed to the total rental amount.

We had an amazing time at Casa Azul del Caribe over New Years. We were traveling as 3 couples and the house gave us plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the sun and to cook some fresh fish. It was easy to find and everything more than lived up to what ws advertised. While we were there, the service (water, towels, etc) was great. My family and I stayed at Casa Azul Del Carribe in May 2012 for 10-days. This property is stunning and even better than described! It is well maintained and the owners were very accessible via email and prepped us well for the trip with advice and helpful hints. We loved the location. It is so easy to get wherever you want to go on the golf carts we rented to visit numerous places on the island. The roar of the ocean and the breeze at this property is so serene, the perfect blend of ocean, shells and pool - you won't want to leave! But you have to leave, because the island and all it offers beckons. We made day trips to Playa Norte, shopped and dined on Hidalgo Ave, dined at Punta Sur, made visit at the turtle farm, visited the lighthouse and spent the day swimming at Zama Beach Club. We loved the front deck in the morning and the Tiki bar in the afternoon with the sunset. Among the highlights were Dolphin Discovery, holding the baby sea turtles and collecting shells and sea glass along the coastline, hanging out on the beach with full service bartending and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and feeding the local Iguanas fruit. The house was spacious and clean and perfect for our two young children (just about 5 years old) and the Island was safe and the locals were wonderful. We will always cherish our fond memories of this trip and plan to return! The Kiklis Clan, Boston, MA.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
