FUN! FUN! FUN! That is what is waiting for you when you rent PINEY COVE! This home has been totally remodeled (completed in January, 2012) and it is beautiful inside and out! You will enjoy views of the mountains, Morro Rock, the bay and the ocean from the spacious and open living room/dining room/kitchen area as well as from the large upstairs deck. The location is perfect – it is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to the golf course, downtown and the Embarcadero. This home has so many amenities it is hard to list them all but here are a few: All new comfortable furnishings throughout, 55-inch 3-D TV in living room, two blue ray DVD players, ping pong table, Air Hockey table, gas fireplace, high-end Weber gas grill, iPod and iPad docking stations and more! Piney Cove has been equipped with top-of-the-line elements throughout: LED lighting throughout the house, 600 thread-count sheets, lush towels, black-out shades, high capacity washer and dryer, etc.

This 2-story home has a reverse floor plan so the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and one deck are upstairs. The washer and dryer are also conveniently located upstairs. The second and third bedrooms are downstairs and share a bathroom. There is a large, protected deck downstairs too. From the downstairs hallway, you can access the 2-car garage where the ping pong table and Air Hockey table are located, so let the tournaments begin! You will find a second refrigerator in the garage to keep your beverages cold while you’re competing or you can use it to store any food that doesn’t fit in the refrigerator in the kitchen.
The upstairs common area has cathedral ceilings, a granite-faced gas fireplace, a large and very comfortable sectional with a large ottoman and a couple of other chairs so there is plenty of room for your whole group to gather. The best part is that the kitchen is open to the living room/dining area so the cooks can still visit with everyone while preparing dinner! The kitchen has granite countertops, top-of-the-line appliances and is stocked with all the cooking items and dishes you could possibly need to prepare a gourmet meal. If you prefer to barbeque for some of your meals, you will be delighted to know that there is a high-end Weber gas grill on the upstairs deck (propane provided). The deck has a large patio table with chairs, so if you desire, you can dine al fresco.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a large flat-panel TV, a big closet and an oversized chair that folds out to a very comfortable single bed. The adjacent master bathroom is beautifully tiled and has a large tub with a separate shower and double sinks. The second bedroom downstairs also has a king-size bed, a flat-panel TV and contains another overstuffed chair just like the one in the master bedroom so it also folds out to a single bed. The 3rd bedroom doubles as a media room with a 46-inch flat panel TV and a sofa bed with a queen-size, air-coil mattress (very comfortable!). From this room, there are French doors that go out to the lower deck. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower tiled in beautiful tumbled stone.
The Morro Bay area offers so many outdoor activities – biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, exploring the ocean tide pools and much more. There are also many cultural programs offered through Cal Poly and the local artist groups in the area. And if you are a connoisseur of wine, you don’t want to miss tasting in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine regions. Be sure to check the local publications so you can participate in some of the many festivals and special events that happen in the area.

We couldn't have been more delighted with our stay at Piney Cove. The house was in impeccable shape and was very clean. The furniture and decor sets this home far above most vacation rentals and the house comes equipped very nicely with all the amenities. The view from the kitchen and living room of the ocean and morro rock is fantastic and we had a blast barbequing on the deck. The huge garage hosts a ping pong and air hockey table which was great fun. The master bed and bath is exceptional in this home. Nick and Maggie are fantastic to work with and do an excellent job managing this property, far above other vacation rental agencies. They are highly attentive but you won't even have to call them because the home will exceed your expectations. I highly recommend anyone to stay at Piney Cove, this home is worth every penny.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We came to Morro Bay April 2012 for a long weekend (3 nights) with friends. We had 2 families- 4 adults and 4 kids in our party. The Piney Cove house was great! Just enough space for all of us. The living, dining, kitchen area was roomy enough for the kids to play, adults to cook and relax with gorgeous view right out the window. The dining table had bench seating which made it easy to fit everybody. One family took the upstairs and one family took the 2 downstairs bedrooms. The house was super clean, tidy and new. The kitchen had all of the appliances, pots & pans, utensils and cooking gadgets that we needed. We even grilled outside one evening. The kids enjoyed the air hockey and pingpong tables in the garage. The location was good in quiet neighborhood but not too far from the main part of town. Overall we had a wonderful stay and hope to be back someday. Highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were amazed at how gorgeous this home is! Everything in it was brand new and beautiful! All I can say is WOW!! They thought of every single detail. We had two families staying there iwth 4 kids; ages 1,2,4 and 5. We brought a baby gate that we secured at the top of the stairs and didn't have to think twice about the kids safety. The round ottoman would perfect so that we didn't have to worry about sharp cornes with the little ones. The large open Family Room had plety of space for games, puzzles, and crafts. The kitchen was spacious with top of the line appliances (the dishwasher was so quiet it was amazing!) We cooked in for several meals and even baked cupcakes and a cake for a birthday and they had EVERYTHING!! The bedrooms were fabulous as well, comfortable beds and bedding. The downstairs media room was great for the older kids to play and sleep in with the pull out couch. We also ened up using the single pull out beds once we realized that the girls were not getting any sleep in their room together :) Overall a great experience, wouldn't change a thing and would and will recommend it to anyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

When the opportunity presented itself to buy a home in this area, we jumped on it because we LOVE this area. We have done an extensive remodel of this home and have tried to provide every amenity that we like to have when we vacation. Enjoy our home!
