Access to the Beach, including the Pier, is also less than a block away. You can easily leave your car parked the entire week! So let your hair down, dig your toes in the sand, and enjoy the Center Street Pearl!
Located across the street from Taco Boy, this one bedroom, one bath property is perfect for the budget minded traveler. It has recently been refreshed with new paint and hardwood flooring throughout. There is a full bathroom, completely stocked kitchen, flat screen TV’s, WiFi and central heating and air.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights recently at the Folly Pearl for a romantic get-away weekend. The Folly Pearl loft is wonderful! Everything we could need was provided. The DVD player wasn't working, but one call to the owners, and it was quickly replaced. The location is perfect. We walked to every meal by simply walking a few steps out of the loft. The owners, Jack and Lindsay, were more than accommodating. We had the chance to meet them in person and found them to be quite professional. They are frequent users of VRBO for their own travels, and they use this personal knowledge to make your VRBO experience with them the best! Without a doubt, we look forward to future stays at The Folly Pearl.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Loved this place. Arrived to find a super cute, clean, perfectly located apartment right in the heart of Folly. The bed was super comfy, the sheets were soft, the bathroom was nice and clean. It's really perfect for two people. Walked almost everywhere; there are SO many nice places to eat within reasonable walking distance. The beach is so close, too. Will be back, for sure.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Just returned home from a wonderful long weekend in Folly Beach. The condo is exactly as promised. We arrived to find the condo clean and well furnished. I appreciated the flowers and ballons that awaited me. My sister had contacted the owner and she got the flowers and ballons as a surprise from my sisters. We enjoyed walking along the beach and talking with the store owners and waitresses. Everyone is very friendly. We had excellent food at Taco Boy and Rita's. Check out the tea plantation, Firefly distillery and the walking tour of Charleston. In Charleston checkout the SourthBend Brewery and Smokehouse. Good food and friendly service. My husband and I enjoyed our visit and hope to visit soon!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Just returned from 5 days at Folly. What a unique island it is! The people are so friendly, the place is unique in that the residents truly know how to preserve what's precious to the feeling and beauty of the island.The condo counldn't be located in a better place. We parked the car and never got back in it. Walked every where we went. However, there is 1 downfall to being right in "the heart" of things.....the outside noise , especially at night, is crazy loud. Seriously, ear plugs would help. The unit was so clean, new, well stocked with everything you could ever need. And the bed linens (a biggy to me!)...like BUTTA!! At least 600 count sheets! Oh, another huge plus...there is a full Spa downstairs, Michelle's, massages and all the yummy things that come with it. Be sure to walk and walk the Island, truly enjoyable. Grab yummy ice cream and old tyme candy from Ms. Donna (right below the unit). Crab Shack, Taco Boy, Rita's, Lost Dog Cafe, the Market down the street(they have a great selection of beers, wines AND liquor and the BEST pound cake I've EVER put in my mouth!!) and the shrimp place across the street MUST DO'S!!! The coffee place across from Crab Shack, was very, very good. We truly had a lovely time and Lucky (our Bishon-Poo) had the best time of anyone....LOVES the beach chasing his ball and meeting tons of other 4-legged buddies! WE LOVE FOLLY BEACH!!!!!! SO dog friendly, laid back, beautiful, it gets in your blood. Folly is more than a beach, it's a state of mind.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners.

About the owner: My husband and I grew up in Charleston. Our families have loved Folly Beach for generations. For years we have admired this condo hoping one day it would become available. When it came up for sale we were ecstatic. Now our family, friends and you can take advantage of this truly unique place.

We have other rental properties on Folly Beach (247967 and 346344) and the most common question is 'how close is the property to Center Street and/or the Pier'. Well, this is as close as it gets!

Folly hosts many festivals and parades throughout the year. This unit provides a birds eye view. For example, Taste of Folly in January, Folly Gras in February, Sea and Sand Festival and St. Patrick's Day pub crawl in March, Follypalooza in October, Christmas Parade in December and Flip Flop Drop on New Year's Eve.
